Forget the light bill, it's all the work to put them up (and take them down)

what do you think of polymer mags, joe? i'll start by saying i like having metal parts (remember our conversation re. pro mag sights vs. magpul). that said, i've never used any p-mags. i have several aluminum bodied magazines and the one i got with my AR from PSA.

Punkin Pie for desert!

Watched the Punkin Chunkin on National Geographic on thursday night so funny, the gene pool isn't too deep with those people.

We then found we had extra special ornaments living in the tree - in the form of red back spiders.

I should not have wikipedia'd that. Sounds like they're the Australian equivalent of our black widow spiders. From time to time we have little infestations of them around my yard.
I believe they are very similar, although we don't have infestations, they are just there all the time. You grow up looking for them when ever you're in a place they are likely to be - close to everywhere but they do prefer the darker places. It's the times when you find them under the seats of your car, is when they catch you by surprise. I've been bit once - stings like buggery.

I don't have any experience with them yet, but the ones I picked up seem very sturdy. I picked them up because they were $ 10 per and I figured why not....Most people seem to like them

Morning Azzy.

A warm one too - 41C

The poms didn't do too well yesterday. The young Aussie scored 250, put the poms back into bat and they only made another 30 runs before stumps. Officially it was declared a draw. Good to see both rugby teams had a win last night.

lol Dee.

The Funnel Web can kill you in minutes, another one of those creatures you don't want to meet in Oz. They like to hide in Gumboots and shoes and clothes. And they are very aggressive.

Evening all.

My only productive thing today was to get the oil changed on the Elky. I always lube the front end as well. The lube is the messy part.

I changed to Brad Penn oil this time. I had been using SWEPCO and liked it but it is just pricy. The Brad Penn is 1/2 the cost and just as highly rated by the pros. That Brad Penn is green. It looks like thick anti-freeze. Just strange looking stuff.

When I did the tranny, transfer and differentials in the landy, lubemeister sent me an additive that turned the lube fluorescent green.....it was weird...
