Yea, that 928 with summer tires sucks in the snow and ice.

Actually the super sticky Dunlop Direzzas did fairly well, it's that supercar ground clearance that keeps me from being able to get out of my garage. Does not make a very good now plow.

When I pulled the spare out of the rover, it is a used stud-able Michilen.

FWIW, we love our rover. it corners amazingly well. i love to lead cars into corners 'hot' when driving in the canyons to snowboard. i watch the followers fade into the rear-view mirror.

Good Evening guys.

Welp, I got our big 'ol printer fired up today. We managed to get it on the stand with just the three manly employees of the company. The old 44 inch wide printer looks pretty small now. The new one will print on 64 inch media. It is a HOSS.

It will print right to boards I think. Our old one could as well, but we never did anything but photogloss. We made some test prints that are amazing at the default resolution of 720 x 720. It will print at 1440 x 720, 1440 x 1440 and even 2880 x 1440. I can't imagine why we would ever print at that high of a resolution.

Great Glen, Now I need to find a nice picture of my 928 to replace the cool boxster shot I have hanging above my desk now.

That stupid photographer that came to our autocross took this one, but she won't sell me the rights to it all she will do is sell prints.

Besides, it is on the shady side of the car, AND doesn't show nearly as much motion as the boxster one.

Yea, I hate her website. It starts playing lame music before the photos even load. I tried to get a image and she would not sell. It is like she thinks it will be on the cover of Road & Track and she will not get paid.

Richard, we owe you big time for setting up our Outlook Exchange. How about a 5 ft x 10 foot print of your car ???

And send us a bill as well.

Those images aren't anything that I couldn't take with my point and shoot.

Screw her, grab a camera and throw it to someone in another heat and have them snap a few pics while you're out, you'll eventually get a good one.

The thing is not getting pictures, ie point and shoot camera. It is getting pictures with enough pixels to print big that also have good composition. Most of the pictures people shoot at our autocross are into the sun showing the shade side of the car.

The link Brian emailed is a cloudy day and all the pics of my car are from the shade side. Not something I would want to blow up and stick on the wall.

The boxster pic is a 10 megapixel photo and prints maxed 24x36. It was taken by a guy that brought his nice camera to an event.
