Ha! I have two tech-spoiled kids! The power goes out the whining starts.

Beth gets a little bent but we just snuggle up in front of the fire and she settles down. When I have the house to myself I usually make it quiet and dark. It works wonders to help unwind, as long as it isn't cold

Porsche-poor 03-04-2014 04:34 PM

power has not been out in a long time. having typed that I'm doomed.

Looks like the Carrera III wheels I have now are worth around $1400. Paid Cory $1700 with Michelins on em. Shipping the wheels from the UK is just under $400

Luxury! When I was a kid we had power but we were too cheap to use it. We dreamed of turning the heat on. To keep warm at night we all slept in a cardboard box with a 40watt light bulb for heat.

RKDinOKC 03-04-2014 04:40 PM

Oh wait, that was the dog.

Porsche-poor 03-04-2014 04:40 PM

the yard gnome at my house has it better than that.

A cardboard box! What luxury. We had. To sleep in gravel road in a hole. No wait that was Monty Python.

Bought some puma driving shoes the other day that make the narrow Lotus pedals much more friendly.....then decided I needed a nice driving hat to keep my hair under control so I found this. Go on rick, you know you have a hairdresser commenthttp://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...psh5fue1fz.jpg

My grandfather had a name for hats like that....

C*cksucker hats! ;) And he even wore one....

HHI944 03-04-2014 06:39 PM

Don't like ball caps and I need something to keep Mt hair under control in the Lotus. ..... And I own a *few* shirts from the designer

does any body else use Chrome to access the internet? Do you get a malware warning for the PP forums, I now enter at my own risk!!!!

azzarule 03-04-2014 07:03 PM

so after all that excitement and risk, I am going to bed!! Too much excitement.

Flieger 03-04-2014 07:12 PM

I got a warning. I thought it was my antivirus software but maybe it was firefox doing it. I ignored it because my antivirus usually overreacts.

RKDinOKC 03-04-2014 07:48 PM

It is a warning from Google and it is about the servers that host the pelican bbs and it was listed as a warning today.

slodave 03-04-2014 07:52 PM

It's actually one of the ads that is causing it. When the ad rotates out, the pages become accessible.

nynor 03-04-2014 08:07 PM

i had this happen earlier. ad related, i am sure.
