Bugger bum 5hit poop!
Discovered late yesterday arvo that one of my coil insert air bags on the Tojo has been spiked. Hopefully I can get another one delivered before the end of the week.

nynor 02-08-2014 02:54 PM

what is a coil insert air bag? how does it get spiked?

porsche4life 02-08-2014 03:02 PM

Who needs the beach when you can lay by your own pool with a cerveza on a beautiful day? ;) http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/09/a5uhyqyq.jpg

Noah930 02-08-2014 03:04 PM

Not to be a snob, but you need a better beer.

nynor 02-08-2014 03:11 PM

pacifico is okay for lazing about by the pool. heck, PBR is just fine for that activity, IMO.

nynor 02-08-2014 03:17 PM

how many of those cerveza's have you had? :)

porsche4life 02-08-2014 03:20 PM

Just one. Damn tappatalk

One of these;
Polyair Spring - 4 Wheel Drive - Air Suspension Supplier Australia

They sit inside the rear coil spring and stiffen the spring as required. I use them mostly for load leveling when towing the trailer.

They can get spiked by sticks or rocks when bush bashing.

I think that's what happened as the hole is about quarter the way up on the side of the bag. The last set of bags lasted me 15 years and only one went flat from old age. Too bad I tossed the old okay one out with it's mate when a got the new set last year, or that'd go back in for now. :(

I just may join you for a beer in a couple of hours Sid, it's bloody hot already and not yet 9am.

Rick V 02-08-2014 03:26 PM

Sid you are now just being mean

nynor 02-08-2014 03:54 PM

yup. sid's cruel side is coming out.

Rick V 02-08-2014 04:03 PM

I promise not t do that when I get out there. I don't drink so it'll be easy

As d says below, pacifico is mighty fine poolside. Probably my favorite cheap beer

Hey them Canadians send it to us, we just pass it along. We try to keep the pretty weather but you guys steal it.

nynor 02-08-2014 04:25 PM

there are only about four beers i won't drink. there are many i won't pay money for.

the beers i will not allow in my temple:

schmidt
hoffbauer (that stuff is liquid crap. it literally tastes like it was fermented from moldy wonder bread)
bohemian beers (a local brewery that i worked for. the owners are arseholes and i know for a fact they put down rat poison in the brewery and restaurant. i haven't had a single one of their beers since i told the owner to go fk himself.)
and there is one more, that i can never remember, but would recognize if i saw.

other than that, if you hand me a beer, i'll drink it.

and yes, PBR is just fine. as is miller high life. yep. i am much more a coffee snob than a beer snob. i won't drink bad coffee, even if it is free.

but i can also carry on as long as someone is willing to listen about just about any style of beer and good examples of the style and how to make it, etc.

yeah, i still love beer.

nynor 02-08-2014 04:32 PM

Josef Hoffbauer Light

the comments are comedy!

edit: a fine example.... LOL!!!

"Have you notice that only people that rate once, and never again give these swill beers a 5? Yes it’s cheap, yes it gets you drunk. It smells like nothing, tastes like someone took a dump in the beer vat. The metallic nasty taste...man what are you people thinking about giving this a 5. I know what you’re going to say "you beer snobs don’t know anything about this great cheap ass beer. I got it for 99 cents a 30 pack. It tastes better than miller and bud, and I got wasted as hell" Give me a break. If I could give this nut sweat a 0 out of 5 I would, but since this rating system only goes down to 0.5 that’s what It’ll be. "

nynor 02-08-2014 04:36 PM

schaeffer.... that is the fourth one. LOL! found it in the comments!

edit: the comments for schaeffer!!! ROFL!!!

"Honestly, this is the second worst beer on earth. First place is the light version. We use to grab this in college for about 30 cents per can (and I was in college in the 2000's, not the 60's). Light gold color with some fluffy head I guess. Aroma is filthy corn and wheat, dirty must, and vomit. The flavor follows almost perfectly and this is really tough to get down during a game of beer pong. Avoid at all costs."

What do you do with those, Jeff?

And I told Sidney not to be mean. We have been both holding back. I found another funny quote for Rick but decided it is enough torture to be in frigid temps. Even San Diego was colder last week. I love Arizona. :)
