Growing up we had a Sheltie/Beagle mix. That dog could run forever. The first time we took him hunting he ran off when he heard the shot but learned quickly that when a shot goes off there is a rabbit. He ignored noise after that. Smart little bugger too. He could unhook a clip from his collar and take off to run. Died of cancer when I was a jr in high school. We grew up together.

When I was still in high school my parents raised bulldogs. The first litter the b**ch only had one puppy which was unusual. The vet we used had just had a litter of pointer puppies. She accepted the pointers and we raised a funny looking litter with one bulldog and 6 pointers. We ended up keeping one of the pointers for a while. The 14 year old girl that lived next door loved that dog and and she would come over and "bowwow" the dog and he would trot alongside her on her bicycle on the base perimeter road 14 miles. He would get back, drink a gallon of water and rest for 30 minutes and be ready to go again.

The neighbor girl wanted the dog but her parents said no, they were about to be transferred to England and the quarantine is too expensive. We gave him to a friend that was a big bird hunter and said that was great hunting dog.

Where we used to live there were alleys and the 4 house lots behind ours were vacant lots. One day we were out in the back yard and noticed Penny was missing. Looked up the alley and saw her walking next to the curb, several minutes later we saw her walking next to the curb down the street next to the vacant lots. She continued walking until she made a complete lap around the block, always walking next to the curb. It was the same route that my Mom took her for walks but this time she made the walk by herself keeping next to the curb like when walking with Mom.

Oh boy, I get to go take a make up drug test. Told them I might not be ready in just 2 hours, That is hardly enough time to make all my connections for pot, amphetamines, coke, crack, and heroin, But I might be able to get good and drunk by then.

No minivans gunna ever be permitted to join the family. If I put the seats back in the landcruiser it'll transport half a soccer team, but I don't think they are planning on being rabbits.

My wife was talking to some of her former co-workers at the university. They were discussing drug testing for the workplace. My wife mentioned we keep several six packs of beer in the fridge, several bottles of wine, and some Tequila and other assorted alcohol ingestion styles here at the office. Workplace safety is described as don't do stupid things!

Our microwave in on the top shelf of a tall shelf. Only the top shelf was big enough to hold it so we have a step stool in front of the microwave and it takes two steps up a OLD step stool to use the microwave. The light switches to see your way to get to bathroom is 7 feet in the air in a room painted BLACK because it was a photographic darkroom for years.

Yep Jeff, no matter HOW many men you put on the job, it still takes 9 months to make a baby!
