An awesome one!
![]() I've got Quadrophenia and Tommy on CD to fit the rock opera genre.

But after hearing you playing selections from the rock opera genre, will the girls beg you to call them, Max?

I think this was the song that was playing at the time. It wasn't the track with the singing.

Good Morning folks.
Whew, I am registered for Parade. It only took an hour to get registered and book the hotel room. I am signed up for the Saturday DE as Laguna Seca as well.

I registerred for Parade too. I did not realize it was that expensive. I originally thought I would just show up Friday and do some of the Saturday events, but then I read somewhere about check-in and I thought it said you had to be there Sunday. So I registerred for more events during the week. Now it looks like you can still register late.
Anyway, not sure both my dad and I can get the whole week off. My mom would be left home alone with our goofy cat. I might skip the organized Big Sur tour (do our own) but I did sign my dad up for the beer tasting and I think that is Wednesday. Still haven't booked rooms yet as I haven't heard from my dad about his plans. Might stay in SLO for some of the days. I'm number 262A. Planning on bringing the 911 assuming the throttle bodies come back from the restorer before then. I also want to install my new aluminum rear calipers from PMB Performance. They are like 5 pounds lighter each than the standard steel M calipers. And that is unsprung weight in the back of the car.

Have fun at Parade, fellas. Was going to surprise Sidney with a trip there for his birthday but schedule did not allow for it. Love that area and would have been a lot of fun. I have several friends who live out there.
I surprised him with a birthday trip to see BHTM at Red Rocks instead.

My parade number is 445. You must have stayed up late to register just after midnight to get a low number like that. I have been as low as 100s a couple of times. Actually when I was the registrar for the Oklahoma Parade back in 1996 I could have assigned myself almost anything except the first few numbers. I think I was 60 something back then. Last year I was in the high 800s.
We are staying at the Hyatt for the week. I will change hotels for Saturday's DE. Max, what is a good place to stay on Saturday 21st? I figure close to the track would be nice. I will have to get up early on the 22nd and start the long drive home. Every year the price goes up for Parade. It is annoying that the club wants to make so much money. The national club has about 4 or 5 million in assets and will make over 1/2 a million on Parade in profit. The DE is rather pricey for a day of fun as well. I wonder what that track rents for for the day? It must be a ton. Ah well, it's just money. The registration web site is vastly improved. Last year was just horrible.

Stijn!!
Whew, a busy day at work.
It took an hour to register for Parade this morning. Then I had to drive to downtown OKC through the traffic All those suckers with real jobs requiring them to drive into downtown. that has to suck. I had to park on the street and walk a block to the City of OKC municipal building and get a building permit approved and pay the fee for the storm shelter. I discovered if one tries to do that in the middle of the day when traffic is light the line at the permit office is a minimum one hour wait. If you get there in the morning the wait is just a few minutes. Then when I went to lunch I stopped at a local 911 repair shop hand got him to sign off on my insurance appraisal form. I am raising the insured value on my car and they insist on a professional to evaluate the car. Now I have to have my agent take some photos of the car. I have not even had time for my afternoon nap!
