Corner balancing took 2 seconds off my 88 Turbo S lap times.

I don't really do modifications to my car to go faster as much as I try to tune the suspension setup for the best handling. For me, it is a lot more fun to drive a well balanced car, not fighting push or looseness. I really really like throttle steering a slight 4 wheel drift through the apex and out onto the straights. Faster lap times is just a benefit of good balance.

I had lots of honey doos to get finished up today. Got those finished and went to the garage. The only real progress was getting the new rear shocks on. Tomorrow with luck the spring plates come off.

Went out and helped Brian set up the course. Lots of slaloms and esses. 78 seconds in Brian's blue turbo. Didn't try it in my Rover.

I thought about coming up in the Corolla... But seeing as how I didn't have my car ready to go until 11... I really did have the time to spare... So I should be in the 85-90 range.... hmm.... Good to know...

Had a very good autocross. Pushed hard and got within a few seconds of FTD

Then I took another guy for a few fun runs and scared him!

Still looking for a car to buy. Found this one in north LA:

YouTube - Porsche

2001 S, all records, 16K$.

I'm pretty dead set on a Boxster S now. My requirements were that A) it had to be a Porsche and B) it was as nice/new of a Porsche as I could afford. An 00-02 986S hits those two requirements dead on the nose.
