Bugger! I got ripped off big time. Just looked at Kmart auto and they have em for $200 a piece - I'm not going back to the local Goodyear dealer for them again that's for sure.

Hehe.

A mate came over for dinner a couple of weeks ago and ran out of Tally-O's to roll his durries with. He couldn't be bothered ducking home to get a new packet so we scoured the house for a similar type of paper he could use to roll one. Tissues and poo tickets don't work very well. We eventually found a old crepe paper party hat from a Christmas bonbon. Worked a treat. Glad I don't smoke

I worked with an old black man at my first job named Benny. He could roll a perfect regular cigarette with one hand while doing something with the other hand. With both hands he could whip out a tobacco joint in seconds. I never got into the wacky tobacky even when it was 20 bucks an ounce. I was too cheap. Anyway I hooked Benny up with a buddy from high school. The kid was having a big party and they could not roll the joints as fast as they were smoked with the group. He sat at the party and rolled up joints for several hours and I understand he was paid with some joints. Benny said he was well paid and the kid from school thought he worked cheap. Every kid went home with some rolled joints. I did not attend that party.

Used to say Porsche gave their cars just enough power that you could pretty much mash the go pedal coming out of a corner with impunity, not to spend the tires in the hole. Now I drive a 928.

Put some cheaper tires on the 928 GT thinking the higher treadwear rating meant they would last longer than a year. Seems less stick meant the slid more and only lasted half as long.

Took the Lotus out for a spin, stopped now at a great little burger joint about an hour away from home. Great burgers and 19 beers on tap!

No driving was done in the preparation of my lunch today.

Made some loaded potato soup and a tuna melt.

Thought the vernacular was "pussy foot around."

Not much going on here, tried watching a movie but ended up napping all afternoon.

So, did you drive in anger, or just a bit miffed?

Just got an email from the company HR department. Seems employees are not allowed to wear open toed, or open heeled shoes in the "manufacturing environment." Wonder who got hurt wearing sandals.

When my Dad worked in the shop he told me to NOT wear steel toed shoes because the stuff you could get your foot smashed by was heavy enough the steel toe would just act as a blade to go ahead a cut the end of your foot off.
