no colorful people like that in our family. that and its hard to trace. my grandfather came from Germany as a little boy and they changed the name when they got here post WWI.

We traced some back. My maternal great grandmother came over on a boat from Serbia when she was 10. People assume it is my red hair that I am quick tempered but I really get it from her. Grandma was the same.
Dad had so many siblings that a row would get in the back seat, then grandpa would put a 2x8 in across the armrests and another row would get in. At least we didn't have any bad nicknames that I know of. One guy in the neighboring town has the nickname Juice because of what happened in the boys locker room one day. Poor kid.

Yea, some of the relatives trees going backwards just stop. It is astonishing how fast the lines grow with every generation back. I have 309 people in my family tree. Some of the lines only go back to the early 1900s. My dad's relatives were a breeding bunch. My dad was an only child. His dad had 10 brothers & sister, his dad had 15, his dad had 8.

My family history is....interesting... One of the more 'feel good' tidbits is that someone on the paternal side has served in every significant armed conflict in which this country has engaged....from the Revolution to OEF/OIF |

It's what we did afterwards with the crap we learned while in service that makes the history interesting! Seriously, i've got an uncle who believes that everything can be solved with the proper application of Detcord....and he's the more rational one.

Had severe diverticulitis that brought on my first colonoscopy, would have let them using anything if they promised it would stop the pain. In fact, I actually enjoyed the gallon of go juice because getting cleaned out made me feel soooo much better.

I will know this evening. I was not in the garage yesterday except to park my Elky. Tonight I will be out there waxing the 911. I will zip it to the top and measure it.
