It actually got hot at the end of the run. Some beautiful scenery on the course. Not used to hills though. My arse and thighs were screaming at me after mile 9. Was walking like an old lady on Saturday night but by Sunday morning, all good. :)

The view out my window. That does not make me want to go walkabout.
On the road for home as soon as I get gas.
No beans for breakfast?

When in September? Maybe I can find a half marathon to run and Sidney and I can go.
It's in the second week of September, but it's early days yet and the likelyhood I'll get the funding is very slim so I wouldn't go making any plans on my account. Actually have more chance of coming over with Sharyn to do Sid's cross-country bomber run.

Shift knob biz picking up! Two weeks ago we had a surplus, now I have to scramble and turn out 13 more.

Threw up a lot as a child.

Have bad memories of Gallup NM from when I was 2 years old.

Don't think they are related.

I hope you guys can make it Jeff. You would certainly make it a party! ;)

I don't even want to know how the conversations would go if Jeff and Joe were on that trip.

RKDinOKC 06-23-2014 01:00 PM

900 mile argument about who farted with Glen snickering and refusing to let anyone roll a window down?

HHI944 06-23-2014 01:10 PM

Sounds about right!

flipper35 06-23-2014 02:06 PM

The argument would be over getting credit for it, not denying it, involving words and phrases the rest of humanity have no hope of understanding.

HHI944 06-23-2014 03:16 PM

Grrrrrrrr
This brassclown I know, he's an Army REMF lt, is taking selfies in his gas mask and acus. .... that would be MOPP level doesn't freaking exist, for those who don't know.... and posting them on Facebook

Got home 30 minutes ago. Lotsa laundry to do. My car is covered in bugs. That wash job will have to wait.

Rick V 06-23-2014 04:01 PM

Evening Y'all.
Glad to kiss mnday away.

Rick V 06-23-2014 04:01 PM

Welcome home Glen

Porsche-poor 06-23-2014 04:16 PM

Off today and tomorrow so Monday hits later.

Sometimes you remember exactly when something started in your life and for me it is Porsche, I remember the exact time I fell in love, it was the movie Le Mans and the 917. Here is that exact car I fell in love with when I was just a wee pup.
McQueen Gulf Porsche 917K set for auction at Pebble Beach - Road & Track

Outback Porsche 06-23-2014 04:31 PM

I remember going to the drive-in with my dad to watch the movie. I've got a copy of it, and still watch it every now and then.

Rick V 06-23-2014 04:35 PM

I have a copy as well, I really need that car.

GH85Carrera 06-23-2014 04:37 PM

I have Le Mans on my phone to watch when I get stuck somewhere. I own a DVD so I made a copy MP3 of it

Porsche-poor 06-23-2014 04:59 PM

That car could get one in trouble really really fast.
