That is a nice luminox. Especially for $50!

slodave 08-12-2014 11:02 PM

I don't wear watches, Richard. :)

RKDinOKC 08-12-2014 11:33 PM

That's okay, you don't have to if you don't want to.

I like em. Have 7 or 8. Sold one that was a nice looking Casio solar powered atomic watch. It made my wrist ache.

Stopped wearing my watch for a while when I was drugged up for my foot. Didn't move enough to keep it wound.

I tried. I just don't like things on my fingers or wrists (I do wear a LiveStrong bracelet and even that gets annoying).

It's only a problem if you want to keep secrets. You could be rooting chooks for all they care, just as long as you let them and everyone else know about it it can't be used as ammo.

Hmmm.....maybe rooting chooks is a bit out of their comfort zone....now pumpkins, that's a different kettle of fruit.....

If i don't have a watch on, find myself looking at my wrist somehow expecting it to inform me of something.

Jim Richards 08-13-2014 03:06 AM

My wrist has low information content. I grab my iPhone instead.

Morrning gents.

GH85Carrera 08-13-2014 05:25 AM

Morning all.

I have worn a watch since I was a high school kid. I can't imagine not having it on. I finally got my dad's old Bouliva Accutron Astronaut repaired. He bought it in 1967 and wore it a lot.

I doubt I will wear it much. Mostly it will sit in the safe.

Morning everyone!

Already had to get rid of our realtor and get a new one.

Noah930 08-13-2014 07:20 AM

Last I checked, I think Chris at VTC still has a couple of those Laco-made 928 watches for sale.

The difference between a realtor that is really good and really working to make a sale and a realtor that just lists the house is huge. Hopefully the new one will work for you.

Glen, that Bulova is awesome....even more so since it has strong sentimental value.

I love old pilot watches.

The luminox has its place though, it's cheap and rugged and reliable....great for time in less than permissive environments.

Porsche-poor 08-13-2014 12:44 PM

On the east coast just north of Rick. Smells funny. Oh wait that's the BS plant near here.

GH85Carrera 08-13-2014 01:09 PM

I think the BS is diluted some by all the hot air and finger pointing. It for sure is not the smell of work.

Did you sleep on the plane?

Porsche-poor 08-13-2014 01:11 PM

Tiny naps. Worst flight ever. Seat mate smelled like #$%#. Two old ladies behind me used the seat back to climb in and out of theirs.

GH85Carrera 08-13-2014 01:15 PM

My flight from Portland to Dallas was the worst ever. We had a 4 or 5 year old girl screaming and crying for THE ENTIRE TRIP FROM WHEELS UP TO WHEEL DOWN.

Porsche-poor 08-13-2014 01:21 PM

Had just a bit of that but mom and dad did a great job.

Outback Porsche 08-13-2014 01:21 PM

Yawn!
