another hour and I'll be done with the design work, then its time to calculate the weight of the bed and see if the customers wants are bigger than his crane.

I mess with sales calls on my Mom's phone all the time. Especially if they ask for Louis Davis instead of Lois. There are only 5 or 6 people that call here so it is easy to tell if it is a sales call.
Credit Cards are especially fun...I tell them I don't believe in Credit Cards and that they are Satan's tool for opening the doorway to hell. One particular caller was persistent and told me I needed a credit card for emergencies. Told him that God took care of me and would take care of my emergencies too. Finally asked him if he was a minion of Satan. He said yes! I screamed and hung up the phone. Think I made both our days. |
Taking our daughter to see this person in concert tonight at the Delaware Country Fair. I cant spell her name but she is one of Emily's favorite artists. Francesca Battistelli is close enough.

Is she the new Charro?
http://37.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m3...flw2o1_500.jpg Guchi guchi Charro was actually a very very good guitar player. |
Nah, she has a much better voice.

Don't think Charro sang unless the words were guchi guchi, arreba.
With songs like Beautiful, Beautiful, would put me right to sleep and I would end up missing the concert. |
She plays a pretty mean guitar though.
Emily also likes these guys, especially this song. I doubt they will be playing for free at a fair. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/FKzIumyKhqQ?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Glen, this little guy was spotted at my parents house yesterday. |
great horny toads!
|
Hey Sid one night on FB I need to get some info from you on iphone and google calendar.
|
Seen a couple of blue racers around the house, some regular toads and squirrels, every so often a bunny or two, and there is a great horned owl that hoots late at night in the top of my cottonwood tree (haven't actually seen it), but no horned toads.
Seem when I was a kid there were bunches of horned toads, there were also a lot more stickers in peoples yards, maybe related? Do horned toads eat stickers, I always though they ate bugs? |
Cool. It is good to know they are still around.
We used to catch them and take them over close to a red ant nest. He would eat until he was full and scamper off. From what I have heard if they don't get ants to bit them they are not stimulated to eat. They will starve because they don't know to eat. They are real difficult to keep in captivity. https://www.wildlifedepartment.com/wildlifemgmt/species/lizard.PDF |
I was thinking maybe ours died because we didn't feed them enough stickers.
Never had any luck with ant farms, fish, or rodents neither. Did have a pet great horned owl I was able to keep alive much much longer than the local zoo kept theirs alive. |

Glen, my folks let the harvester ant dens flourish and I think that's why they have lots of horny toads. Good trade off. :)
And David, just hit me up when you see me online. |
