I wonder if they will replace it with a similar aircraft or some other platform.

Sad, end of an era, the photos of those things with all guns and flares and anti missile sheet blazing are historic!!!

Well Marilyn has been for her first run in a month, and she was so much ...fun! Although the cops are out in force today, speeding must be their target this week. Saw three people sitting on the side of the road with a cop car up their exhaust all lights flashing, and pulled over for another which was up my exhaust, but not for me, someone in front of me!! The advantage of doing the speed limit.

RKDinOKC 08-15-2014 01:14 PM

In the Rover never had to worry bout the speed limit. Felt like it was just doin good to make it to the speed limit. This Cayenne S is a horse of a different color. Alway seems to wanting to be going faster.

Oh but there was a corporate group that did it and won. I think I remember there were 3 main backers and they were from Australia. It was a huge effort and they hired people to stand in line and buy the tickets. I remember seeing story about it with people lined up at the stores you could buy tickets. The problem comes with the logistics of the huge number of tickets you have fill out and buy. Thats why the claimed they wouldn't be doing it again.

I haven't checked, there may be a limit to the number of tickets one person or entity can buy.

I remember the situation. The number of tickets required to purchase a winning combination for the Australian lottery was favorable compared to other lotteries since they used a smaller range of numbers. The group of "investors" was monitoring the expected pay out for the lottery, as they new if they purchased all possible number combinations they would "win", but the payoff had to be high enough to take into account the situation that there might be multiple winners but also had to be profitable (higher than their ticket purchase costs.) They made the call and had some dedicated machines that they ran for 24 hrs a day for several days. 1 or more had issues and they were not able to buy all number combinations prior to the drawing - but they had purchased a winning ticket.

A happy ending

Those cost extra, Happy Endings.

Even though we play in the goofballs just for fun league it is still nice to go out under the lights with a bat and glove.

Andy, how's that new realtor?

GH85Carrera 08-15-2014 02:08 PM

Gettin close to go home time.

Richard, you should bring the new pepper pig to the Hooter car show tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Eat some bad food and I will even buy you A beer. One thing for sure Hooters does not stay in business because of their food.

Evening Y'all,
Well as some of you remember I lost my mom a couple of years ago and today is her birthday, usually not a great day but we just had another baby enter the family today. That is gonna make a lot of smiles. My dad is at the consultation for surgery right now and I just texted Beth the news. It'll be a bright spot for him. She is playing driving Mr. Daisy right now.

We have 72 counties and 520 school districts. Each district has it's own bloated overstaffed and overpaid administration.

And there are many private schools that take the load off the public schools.

Our school system needs a total overhaul from top to bottom and that will happen right after bigfoot comes out of the woods riding a unicorn with a solution for middle east peace.

Lousiville and my HS are both private, but your points still stand.

Do you have that problem Dave? lol

I've never been called a girl to my face, but I have heard it indirectly when people would see pictures of me when my hair is especially long. It doesn't help having a baby face. I still get mistaken for 16 even now that I am 24.

Not really. I did confuse a young neighbor kid last summer, as I had been swimming and put a towel around my waist for the drive home. Went to check my mail and the little kid said something like "why is he wearing a skirt? Is he a girl?". Mind you, I had a beard too. :D

My dad messes with me, but that's about it. Then again, I live in actor and musician-ville. Less common these days, but no one bats an eye at a guy with long hair around here.

azzarule 08-15-2014 07:05 PM

must be Southern Maryland, and the North West USA then. David got called a lady, she, her, girlie, about 10 times while we were away, so that has convinced him that he needs short hair, sigh. I like it long. And yes having a baby face doesn't help,
