Jeff, that does not look like fun!

This is an upstairs bath luckily, so it wouldn't require a jackhammer if we did have to dig deeper.

Brother's old house had concrete floor in it's upstairs bath. When he remodeled he yanked it all out an re-poured it. Carried the concrete upstairs one bucket at a time.

Morning, everyone. Back in Singapore for one last night. Gonna search out one of the best 50 bars in the world in a few minutes for one over-priced drink. I'm not a straight-drinker, so will probably go with a mojito. Lame, eh?

Good Tuesday morning everyone except for Motion & Jeff, Good evening to you two.

My coffee just finished brewing, I think I will go pour myself some coffee.

Outback Porsche 10-21-2014 05:23 AM

Morning Glen SmileWavy

I've got a nice rum or scotch (or black sambucca) to go in that coffee if you want? ;)

GH85Carrera 10-21-2014 05:47 AM

Yuck. No thanks.

I drink my coffee black and straight up. I know am strange in may things and I never developed a taste for any hard booze or wine. I like Beer.

Back in my single days I stocked a liquor cabinet with several bottles of the good stuff. I had a bottle of Crown Royal that I bought in 1978 shortly after moving to Oklahoma. I finally gave it to a buddy in the mid 1990s and the bottle was 3/4 full. I gave him several bottles of booze and I have not yet missed any of them. I do like beer. ;)

Well, after a very expensive cab ride, I find the secret, hidden bar only to find its closed for the night. Extreme disappointment. Being cheap, I walk for an hour back to my hotel and stop by a 7-11 for a $6 bottle of beer. Its 95 degrees and 90% humidity, so I am soaked all the way through. See ya, Singapore. Can't say I'll miss ya :)

Good nite all!

RKDinOKC 10-21-2014 06:48 AM

Well, I'm awake, and it seems to be morning. So...If it suits your geographic location and temperment,,,Good Morning.

Motion, I know you travel a lot for fun.

Where is your favorite place to go so far? What was the most interesting to see?

My wife retires next year and we will have a chance to travel some. Going to a beach is at the bottom end of the scale. I suspect Europe will be high on the list. Maybe even OZ.

flipper35 10-21-2014 06:53 AM

It was Jacobs birthday so he got to choose what to eat. Last year he wanted meat so we had venison steak which he enjoyed. This year he wanted to go to Culver's. It is his favorite fast food place. They do have good deep fried cheese curds.

Have to go see if the coffee is done so I can answer the phone.

GH85Carrera 10-21-2014 06:57 AM

Deep fried anything is pretty tasty. Every year the state fair has booth after booth of deep fried food. Everything you can think of and many you would never dream of.

Its a tough question to answer. Generally speaking, my wife and I do not like large cities. I like them for the fascinating aspects of different cultures compressed into a small space, and the architecture. We enjoy the countryside far, far more. I would have to say my favorite places so far have been the Eastern Cape of South Africa, and the French countryside.

That said, I am also a beach lover :) Poipu, Kauai is at the top of my list, and we go there often.

I haven't been to New Zealand, but my friends who have tell me I'm going to fall in love. You and your wife might put that on your list.

Yea, NZ would be part of the trip to OZ. If we get to the other side of the world we will have to be there a while.
