Hay Max that looks just how I ran Laguna Seca!

I did not quite get to 140 on the straight however.

What happened to car 20? Did the tire just separate? It looked like the tire came off. What type of car was that?

Good Hump-day morning folks.

That poor girl is all bent and contorted. Do you think she has back problems?

Father in Law and his new bride just visited (both in their 80s). Asked him if he wanted a ride in my 89 Targa. He said "no"...but she said yes!".

I was not sure if she would like it (the plane flight was her first). I gave her a quick ride down a twisty, tree-lined road. She loved it and shamed him into taking a rise. When we got back, he looked at her and said..."we really need to get one of these." She responded immediately with a "heck yeah!".

Morning all. No fight needed. All Porsche's are expensive period.

Just grab a 16 pound sledge hammer and let er rip. That will work up a good sweat in short order.

Will there be explosives? If so, video it and put it on youtube!

i've got a hard hat and safety glasses you can borrow.

keep those you need them to supervise from the beer cooler.

Max, the Cobra is sitting at about 6 pounds per pony at the moment. Looking to move that down at least a pound or so with a lighter, more powerful small block. Will mess with the balance though, it is already 48/52 since the engine is fully behind the front spindles.

Everyone knows mine is a replica because it is still primer over fiberglass.

Rick, I still have an air cooled early model 911. I just need someone with more knowledge than me to do some wiring. Then I can auction rides in both. I am sure my brother in law won't mind. One thing I am looking forward to is a more compliant ride.

Jim, make sure you use a good tripod for the camera. I have seen too many where the camera holder wimps out when things go bang and all you see is the ground. You don't make much off of youtube that way.

Andy, how is the schedule on the house coming along?

RKDinOKC 09-03-2014 09:51 AM

My hard hat is one of the red supervisor types.

Porsche-poor 09-03-2014 09:55 AM

never give it away. they might put you to work without it.

RKDinOKC 09-03-2014 10:26 AM

Oh, it's got my name on it.

The tree trimmers in my yard a few weeks ago laughed at me when I walked out into the yard wearing my hard hat. Theirs were all yellow.

Porsche-poor 09-03-2014 10:43 AM

lol good one.

Thanks for the font.

flipper35 09-03-2014 10:45 AM

They tried to make us wear them while doing commercial flooring. They were hard to keep on when the top of your head faces the floor. I guess they would keep your head safe if something bounced into it.

Once, a roll of carpet that was around 800# fell off the second floor as they were carrying it up the stairs. One of the carpenters didn't bat an eye but reached over and put his hard hat on. At least his head would have been OK when the rest was squashed.

Porsche-poor 09-03-2014 10:47 AM

I no longer go to job sites. Can't war a hard hat seems no one wants me around construction areas then.
