The problem is Russian women are terrible at the trades, like plumbing, tiling, or electrical work and the Mexican workers around here are all men.

I use wasp spray. It sprays about 20 ft. Been wasp stung 4 times. Each time I had a worse reaction. Last time my doctor offered one of the anaphylactic kit things. If I see one in my yard I get a can of spray and declare war.
|
Its a first for me. Gone now.

The first sting was no big thing. The only weird thing was my vision got blurry for two days, then went all 20/20 for the next 30 days.
Didn't figure it out until after the wasp sting the next year. More of a reaction at the sting, and same vision thing. Remembered the blurry vision after the sting a year earlier, then the 20/20 because I had to dig up the non-prescription sunglass I had gotten. Third time, another year later, my whole arm turned red and the same vision thing. Went to doctor and neither MD or OD had any idea about the vision thing. That's when Doc recommended I carry a sting kit. Changed eye docs because he changed my prescription to the blurry vision even though i told him it would clear up and go 20/20, then had no idea and just said you don't need glasses when I went back and tested 20/20. Didn't even bother to go back when my eye went back to what they were and my regular glasses worked fine. The fourth time I got stung in the top of the head. Almost no bite site reaction, I'm guessing because there isn't much flesh there to react. Same vision thing though. My current OD said my sinuses and tissue in my eye sockets were probably swelling as a allergic reaction causing a change in the shape of my eye socket. And that it was rare for the eye tissue to be involved. He didn't know why they went 20/20. I sure like the OD I had when fresh out of college. He was an old guy. When he noticed my yellow tinted glasses he asked if it made everything yellow. I said no, and that it helped in low or bright light when the B/W receptors do most of the work. He gave me a color blindness test with and without my glasses, then a b/w test with and without. Colors were the same, Went much farther into seeing difference in grays with the yellow glasses on. He thought it was cool and made the comment the he likes to learn new things. Wonder what he would have done if he hadn't retired before my wasp experience. |

Good Monday morning folks.
I am happy to report I am able to lift the coffee cup to my lips without needing bot hands. My arm is amazingly not sore. After 7 hours of rubbing on my El Camino I figured my are would be real sore. I guess all those trips driving past the gym have payed off. |
Okay, I've had some coffee...Good Morning.
http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/...pg?w=550&h=395 Is this how you train for stunt combat? |
I will just guess that is not official us military training.
That is how civilians deal with federal bureaucracy and the IRS. |
This is a new one, for me anyway. A person in New Jersey seems to be buying the Rover (will know if paypal shows up) and has done ALL communications via texting.
Texted me asking if sold, what condition, and if I accepted Paypal. Texted back not sold, the web site link, and yes I would take paypal. That was at 6:30am this morning. Few minutes ago, little after 8:30am texted for my Paypal account and address to pickup, and that he would send a shipper that would inspect the rover and sign the bill of sale. Sent back email and home address. I was not comfortable buying an out of state car I found on the internet until I had talked to them on the phone several times. But I have bought my last 3 cars that way. And two of those were car dealers. |
Glen, looks like no-one else has made it through the weekend.

So Joe, what is the reason for that ring of fire training? Accuracy while jumping out of something on fire?
|
I have no friggin clue....dude looks asian...those guys do weird, impractical crap while training...
|
I'm up just swamped at work. Typical Monday.
|
Still waiting for the paypal payment for the rover. Now he wants to add shipping fees to the price and have me western union the fees to the shipper.
|
RKD, that doesn't sound good.
Had Hunter Education classes starting Friday night with Emily and ending Sunday night. Got home around 9:30. Was pretty sure one of them wasn't going to pass. He kept sweeping the muzzle across the instructor and the class and couldn't keep his "dirty little finger" off the trigger while smiling constantly. Got the replacement fan for my video card on Saturday. Now it won't boot at all. I will try a different video card and if that works I will have to send this one back and be out another three weeks, or send it back and buy a good one and keep this one as a spare. |

yep next he will want you to pre-pay the shipping which happens to be his buddy over here and then back out of the deal.
|
Yea, I would let him arrange his own pickup.
|
They did better than that. Sent me a "PayPal" email saying the payment was pending until proof the shipping was paid via western union. Too bad that email came from a gmail email address instead of paypal AND i checked my paypal account and no pending payments. Forwarded the email and phone number he contacted me from to the paypal scammer hunters.
Rover ain't gone until I see it leaving down the street on a truck or being driven. A 928 owner that is a killer detailer (typically wins class and/or best of show in the concours he enters) offered me my original $800 and a top notch detail job on the 928 and Cayenne. He has pictures hanging next to the big screen tv in his garage of him shaking hands with Griots owner. There is still the guy in Weatherford getting the money together and the local guy that offered $2000. And that was just from the Craigslist add. The Cars.com ad went live a few minutes ago. and the autotrader ad should be up by now. Guess I need to put a google visitor counter on the more info web page. Besides the Cayenne ain't here yet and the 928 is spewing power steering juice. If the Rover drives off before the Cayenne gets here I might have to call my personal shopper from the foot ordeal to re-stock our toilet paper. |
