okay survived the Baby Shower, made sangria to take, a bottle of red a bottle of white and a bottle of champers, red grapefruit juice and seltzer, with fruit thrown in, was yummy, now everyone wants the recipe. Doesn't anyone else cook or make stuff in the USA, its easy.

Steve took Marilyn out and went shopping with the top down, when people started walking in with wet clothes they realised it was raining, I believe they drove home very very fast lol

Stijn!!

I had fun in the garage today. The oil pressure gauge has been acting up for a few weeks. I replaced it with a used one I had in a gauge pod several years ago.

The Elky came with just idiot lights. I hated that and bought a couple of gauge pods on eBay to get a full set of gauges. I wanted a tach and a speedo that had a trip odometer. Since the circuit board was for idiot lights I had to hard wire the gauges. The other pain is my transmission originally was a 3 speed and the 4 speed with lockup needed a different gear indicator. All of that makes it a pain but I know who to blame for problems and marvel at his wonderful engineering and high levels of skill.

I bought a new GM gauge that looks perfect but now the other gauges look sun faded.

The new pressure gauge is in and working. Yea.

Watched an episode of the new Dr. Who tonight. Can't say I like the new doctor yet. Doesn't seem to be the hero he used to be- kind of snippy and not as focused or something. Clara on the other hand is pretty darn cute. Probably a toss-up between her and the redhead Amy.
