Evening Y'all,
Well this was too funny. My half inch impact gun blew up today so I had to spend some coin, and I only had two requirements. 1 it had to be able to sheer off crank bolts 2 it had to be loud to an epic rude scale.
I started playing with it and the chick who works in parts, and likes to stir up crap came waddling out and said my new gun was very loud, to which I replied, "Yup". About an hour later the parts manager came out and said "we" were going to have to do something about the noise from my gun, it was disturbing his parts staff. (my mind did a fit pump). I told him I would be happy to use what ever gun his dept wanted to buy me and was told that he wasn't going to buy me a gun. I told him I bought this one because it fit my needs and reminded him the auto industry is not a library and we do make a fair amount of noise.
It was so absurd, that the guy who works next to me also spent most of the day using my loud gun and giggling every time he pulled the trigger.

There is a muffler for it, but I forgot where I put it. The exhaust is from the bottom of the handle so it isn't loud for the user

A friend has been telling me I need to put a cat bypass on the Cayenne to make it louder. Not sure why, it's an SUV. One that drives more like a sports car, but still an SUV. Feel like it would be like those pickup trucks with loud exhausts and NASCAR stickers on em.

Ut oh. credit union sent me a letter stating their ATM Card database may have been hacked. Seems pretty coincidental that only a few days ago I got a notice that VISA has just changed it's policy for lost or stolen card charge liabilities. This "Cloud" data storage security is really getting on my nerves.

Hey, that's an opportunity for a billion dollar business. Offer insurance to the cloud storage companies for data theft liabilities. Cloud storage is way to cheap because they aren't liable for losses anyway.

I got the same letter Richard. I get a new debit card soon. No fraud detected but they are being cautious because a unnamed vendor was compromised. I suspect it was the Home Depot hack.

Good morning everyone.

The guy I work with is selling a 50 CC scooter his daughter used to ride. He has in on Craig's list. His ad said CASH only sales, no shipping. He got a text from some scammer that wanted to know if he would take PayPal. He replied, no PayPay, checks, no pigs, chickens or goats, cash US money only. The guy started with the old I am a marine biologist on a research ship in the Indian ocean and I want to buy the scooter for my dad. My co-worker replied that is cool, I am a astronaut on the space station. We will be flying over the Indian ocean, where is your ship, I will look for it.

For some reason the scammer has not replied anymore.

Kinda felt slighted on my Craigslist listing of the wheels and tires off my Cayenne. Only response I got was an actual buyer. It's the only thing I've listed on Craigslist that didn't get a scammer trying to get me to cash weird checks for more than the amount asked for or take fake paypal payments that were held until i western union money somewhere to pay for a shipper to pick it up. Of course i agreed to all the terms and turned all the contact information over to paypal and the police.

The cashiers checks were brilliant, both check fraud and mail fraud in one fail swoop.

I played a April Fools joke on a worker here. I put my message in the Babelfish website through three or four different languages and back to English, then sent it to her. I had her going for a couple hours.

I haven't been to Home Depot in years. I guess I am safe from that one. I am sure there are others to get me.

Looks like we are moving our data from on premise to the "cloud". I hate that word, I feel like spitting every time I say it. Maybe I should be more italian or greek with it.
