Friday and Saturday were about as crappy a set of days I have had in a long time. Had to do some projectile therapy on Sunday. The kids did pretty good. My groups with the hand spoons was terrible for some reason but the long spoons were nice and tight. Kind of the opposite of normal.

Her pride and joy

Here is our eldest with her pride and joy. Yes, I let her pick the color of the Skinner aperture sights.

Favorite hand spoon

Here she is with her favorite hand spoon. We are still working on form, but she doesn't do too bad.

Our youngest could recite the 4 main rules of spoon safety so he got to shoot sissy's Red Ryder and a little Daisy hand spoon. The only way the hand spoon would put your eye out is if you poked yourself with the barrel. He was excited to hit his target, but we were pretty close. He also had some issues with his shooting glasses and we had to use the ear protection to keep them on. They did not adjust short enough for him.

She decided to try my 6" S&W Model 28-2 with .38 special. It came with the Pachmayr grips instead of the traditional wood. She didn't think they were as comfortable as the Double Nine but thought they mitigated recoil well. The Double Nine has more curve and are smaller, more like a Ruger.

It was a good day. Unfortunately we lost them all when the boat capsized on the way back from the dump.

Looks like fun Brent!

The ACOG took a bit of getting used to, but once I was squared away, it was incredible.

Skippy McCrossfit was at the gym, giving me dirty looks as usual... He was there the entire two hours I was there and he didn't break a sweat...

Scuba, Scuba...Or a big magnet.

Nephew, then 14 dropped a 22 K frame revolver off a dock. I think he was trying to shoot fish or obviously doing something stupid. Rigged up a big treble hook on some twine. Dredged up a bunch of junk. Pulled up a freakin jeep door, and the gun was snagged on it! That gun was worth quite a bit at the time. He was thankful I didn't make him dive for it, he was afraid of being eaten by a big cat fish.

One of the things I learned when canoeing in scouts was...If in a boat, make dern sure everything you value floats or is attached to or inside of something that floats.

It was fun. In case no one could tell I am a pretty proud daddy. I should keep some of her targets to show the boys that want to date her. Just so they know, know what I mean?

If Skippy didn't break a sweat, why is he at the gym?

Richard, all I know is that High Standard Double Nine is priceless to her. She would go through a brick of .22 if we had time.

Sounds like it would be worth getting the local scuba club involved in a search and rescue operation.

Did the font and link/pic buttons quit working on the Quick reply, or is it just me.

Evening Y'all
Peggy is Peggy because of the old man I bought her from, I handed him the cash, he handed me the title and he said "Son, her name is Peggy and I expect you to address her as such"

Hmm, the buttons work in advanced, they also work in Quick Reply on all the other vbulletin boards I'm on. Here is the only place they don't work. Rennlist is even the same version of vBulletin and they work there.
