And yes Max in some places it is against the law to collect rainwater. Here in Charlottesville people are actually taxed for the rain water runoff that they have. The more property you have the more the tax is, because the rain, that you have no control over, runs onto city property and into the city storm drains. Yes they tax the rain here

Wow, so by collecting the water and saving the city the trouble of dealing with the runoff, you are breaking the law? WTF that doesn't make any sense, it's all backwards.

Rick V 12-12-2014 05:43 PM

You are allowed to collect water, never said you couldn't but to get billed for runoff is insane

Charlottesville : Water Resources Protection Program

OK, that is at least not so hypocritical, but to be fair you did at first say it was against the law to collect rainwater. ;)

No. I said in some places, I didn't say here

G visiting was a good surprise with SLO Dave.

Joe and his dating was, well, interesting. Stijn had the best advice there.

Sid got all growed up and out of college into the real world and somehow ended up with Tweeze. Must have been some weird star alignment going on. No offense Sid and Thuy, but Sid sure got the gold mine on that one and she got...Sid and a well prepared 944. :)

Richards foot, nipple lube, pilots license, guitars for everyone. G building an engine, Stijn and his company rally cars...

Thought about looking a couple guys up on our trip to CA last year but realized I knew you all pretty well but no one knew me yet.

That was the best summary ever! Ha ha ha! Made me laugh reliving some of the events. :)

And that's funny what you said about me and Sid... I don't know. He cleaned up well and believe me, it wasn't a moment of stars being aligned. It took several months of being very persistent on his part. I shooed him away for some time. He put three times as more work into it than his competitors during that time.

All I can say is don't write off Sid so quickly. As I learned, he knows more than his years in many things.

One of the reasons behind the run off stuff is to assert control. Example: a neighbor had landscaping done. The landscaper told me he would do some work in my yard if I let him go thru my side yard to carry some big bolders thru on a bobcat. I agreed. Part of the "Free" landscaping work he did was to divert the runoff from the yard he was working on the the other neighbors yard next door that also backs up to my property. It caused their patio to flood and run into their house. Luckily instead of going after me, they went after their next door neighbor that was officially having the work done. He had to redo my yard so stop the run off from being diverted and pay to have their carpet replaced.

That sums it up nicely!

Haha! I think we both won the lottery in finding each other! ;) We balance each other nicely, and encourage each other to push new limits and try new things!

And yes, she did not give in easily. I had to try many, many times to convince her to give me a shot!

RKDinOKC 12-13-2014 06:48 AM

Folded on going for some donuts and had some leftover cold pizza. I like that new philly cheesesteak that Papa Johns puts out. But will be burping garlic sauce all day.
