It was just starting to rain as we pulled in, looks like a bullet was dodged, the bulk of the storm is staying just below us. I would be in Ar already but we are having issues with the kitty. He is not doing well

Tomorrow may be heading back to Scottsville. If he doesn't eat we are bailing, I'm not willing to risk his health, we just snatched him from the jaws of death once, I am not into trying that trick again. That was why we decided to bring him with us, he won't eat if either Beth or I are away for more then a day. We'll see if he eats tonight, that will be the deciding factor

Took the Tesla on the NYD hangover drive this morning. Fun! Not a great car for fast cornering, but it can be done.

You need the addon that makes motor noises so you can tell how fast you are going

Sorry to hear that, I hope he gets more comfortable. I would think a can of tuna would entice him to eat.

Richard, it was actually odd at times. I was listening to a radio station out of Germany over the cars 3G. At times there were long periods of silence. And I mean silence. When the signal was lost, I just kept driving and noticed how quite the car was. Some road noise here and there and a little wind noise from the GoPro at the top of the windshield, But eerily quiet., especially when other Porsches were not around.

When we travel, whether by car or plane, our dog frequently eats poorly the first day or two. She's too nervous as she's out of her familiar element. She does get back to having her normal appetite after that first day or so.

Clip a baseball card to the brake caliper for the cool action noises.

He'll be okay tomorrow after he wakes up in his one area. He is an odd one.

Good morning folks.

It looks like a good day to NOT travel in OK, Texas or NM. ice and s*** storms just keep coming today.

I will make a lunch and beer run soon and hole up at home. No ice yet but they are advising a no travel alert.

Sorry to hear about the kitty issues Rick, but with the weather, it may work out to go at a later time.

My dog is like that when I board her.......if I take her with me though, she's just fine.

this made me laugh out loud, i thought i'd share.

the blog is about the well-known indian scam re. MS windows and having a virus, etc. it is the comments by Yaseyioeym that are utterly hilarious. i did something similar, but not quite this creative, when they called me about my computer 'problems'.

I played with those guys quite a bit when they called me and told me they were from Microsoft and my PC had contacted them that it was infected and having problems. Lead them on quite a bit asking how my PC could contact them and how. They said it was built into the operating system. I said wow, that is really amazing that my Apple Macintosh would contact Microsoft about having a problem and hung up.

I am miserable. Went in to get a syst on my neck drained on new years eve. Got some antibotics. The antibiotices triggered a horrible yeast infection in my mouth, hands and genitals. Just go back from ER getting the syst re-drained and other antibotics to counter the first one. Hope it doesn't cause more problems...

We are back home and the kitty went right to eating and drinking, as much as I am pissed right now, and as fast as he went to his normal self, it makes me realize that turning back for him was the best decision. He was not going to eat or drink on the road. He is sleeping on my lap right now and I want to throw him through the wall but it isn't his fault.

That sucks Richard.

Rick, I hope you are back home and the kitty is better. The weather here all day has been light drizzle. We have not even received 1 tenth of on inch and it is 35 degrees so no frozen crap. Tomorrow is going to be cold.
