Evening Jeff,
Well so far the day has been alive for about half an hour and I haven't killed anybody yet so I am calling it good.
You get your water heater all done?

No new water heater - no quote yet????

Actually, I was only just shuffling monies around tonight in prep to pay for it. I'm thinking I may have to delay payment by the same amount of time when it's done.

Went and saw them on the way home from work today to have a little chat. They've mailed it out and the boss was out of town. Office chick didn't know where to find a copy.

The boss is supposed to be ringing me tomorrow...we'll see how that works out?

How'd it go as librarian?

Also been ordering parts tonight for the tojo from amayama.com

Never used them before...their web site sucks...we'll see how it works out I suppose.

We've got 8 weeks before we need the old girl.

Richard, the new gyros are nice on the radios. Plus, as Sid sad, the SAFE technology really limits how much trouble you can get into. If you lose orientation or anything, just hold the panic button and chop the throttle. We have a field not too far away that used to be an airport and the local club fees aren't bad and I can also fly over the beans from our yard if I want.

I raced stadium trucks, off road buggies, dirt oval, paved oval and road course cars.

OK, so they determined the pinion bearing is bad and if it dropped metal in the diff the ring and pinion need replaced. I figured that much. They asked what ratio and I asked why and I was told the 3.55 complete with posi was available used locally for about $200 and the 3.92 (whis is what we have) was about $1000. Fortunately a new ring and pinion from Richmond with the new bearings and everything is about $350 but they would have to swap out the differential and flush it good. I had the plug out and checked the oil and it was clean.

I wonder why the disparity in price on the used stuff? Is that what the off-roaders want for gears? I would think they would want something in the 4s.

If Rick were the librarian, I bet that would be the quietest library in the state.

So Rick, do you re-arrange all the popular books up high so they need you to reach them?

My doc up and went and retired on me at the end of 2014. The bum.

I had to go interview a new doc to take my money. It is at the same office and practice but just a different end of the building. It turns out I already knew him. He is a PCA member and owns a 1987 911 widebody. He seems like a good guy so he passed my exam. Now I just need to edit the contact information for my former doc and replace it with the new guy.

I have a doctor that is younger than me so I should be dead by the time he retires. It is tough breaking new ones in.

Yea, this new one is a puppy (mid 30s.) Everyone wants a Marcus Welby M.D. looking experienced silver haired doc but it sucks when they get old and retire. I have been using the same dentist since 1978. I am the patient he has had the longest. All of the other patients he had from back then has died or moved or changed dentists. He told me he is planning to retire in a couple of years. He had just opened his practice in 1978 now he is gonna retire on me. I asked if I will just have to come to his house for my teeth cleaning after he retires and he looked at me with a stunned look on his face until he realized I was joking.

Our dentist has been breaking in a new guy. Don't like dentists, even though ours is a pretty good guy most of the time. He has 25 acres for us to play airsoft on.

The doc's here don't normally stay long, so I've had to interview a few over the years. The latest one is a young shemale and it looks like she's here to stay a while as she's gone and got herself married to a local bloke.

I like her, she has long fingers. Them ones with the short fingers hurt too much when they have to shove them short fingers up your arse.
