They predicted up to 2 inches of rain for us today. We had a trace of rain.

I think we finished up with 1.25 inches for the day, looks like it is clearing out now

So Pepper has been outside a while so I looked out to check on her. It is wet out but not actually raining. Pepper had drug the door mat at the back door out to where she likes to lay on the grass and was laying on it like a boss.

Welcome to the third monday of the week. Tax day for those who haven't finished or filed for am extension. I am not sure what I am doing since Beth does the taxes, I think we are sending them off today

Morning, amigos. Yep, it's 3rd Monday. I did our taxes a while back, and I'm glad that's behind me for another year.

Had to pay instead of getting a refund because of my big vacation payoff, so waited till Monday to file so I could at least make the most interest possible on what I had to pay.

Going to hurt more next year because I won't have a dependent parent to claim.

I'm feeling much better this morning, I took a sick day yesterday for the first time in 5 years. I obviously had a fever cuz I couldn't stop shivering and could barely walk through the house, I went back to bed for 4 hours and then took a nap on the floor in front of the woodburner with the dog leaning up against me.
