With diluted eyes on my mac I can hit command + and make all the text big enough it ain't fuzzy no more on most all programs especially web browser and email.

There for a while I were gettin dilated once a month on that eye study program.

Being a puppy, sometimes she does really really weill, other times she is brainless and don't know anything except running around biting and chewing and barking.

RKDinOKC 03-23-2015 02:32 PM

Morning Y'all,
Okay we are gonna give it another go today.

ckelly78z 03-24-2015 04:00 AM

About slipped on my azz walking into work this morning, I threw some salt down so the next person doesn't. Average temp this time of year is 52 degrees, and we have only seen that twice this year.

Our dogs thinks they are hunters. Well actually the hunt for squirrels with the same success rate as Elmer Fudd hunting rabbits. They were in hot pursuit just 5 or 6 feet behind a squirrel the other day. I suspect it was toying with them. They will sit for hours in the back yard next to the storage building peeking around the corner waiting for it the come down to ground level.

Our last two dogs did manage to kill a squirrel. We were not home when it happened. We came home and there was a dead squirrel in the back yard. I doubt it dropped dead from a heart attack and there were no bullet wounds.

Good morning everyone.

After getting a little older my other goldens have brought me mauled birds, snakes, rabbits, squrrils, and even an opossum (not mauled and playing opossum).

No sure what frightened her, may have been a neighbor lady out in her back yard in a nighty.

flipper35 03-24-2015 07:44 AM

We appreciate the limited description of the neighbor lady.

On the PC you can do ctrl/+ and ctrl/- to zoom in and out on the browser but then I can't use bad eyes as an excuse if I misspell something.

Our old lab was a good hunter and would catch everything from doves to 'possums. She once got into it with a bald eagle over a deer head someone lost out of the back of their truck by our house. Our current lab runs from the Robins that chase her. Our beagle is a glutton so he hunts everything and will climb up the bushes to get to the birds. Then he gets stuck.

GH85Carrera 03-24-2015 07:44 AM

Our last female Dachshund was the real hunter.

She caught and disposed of several mice. She got several skinks, several little snakes and the wost was a Tortoise. Actually it was a terrapin but she disassembled it. It was a bloody mess in the laundry room. And I mean the literal bloody not like the British version.

Any critter in her yard was prey.

Our current smooth black Dachshund thinks he is a hunter. He has killed some little snakes and the dumb dog will keep after a toad until he is all frothed up. I told my wife I think he likes getting high on toad venom. He does not bite them just pokes them with his nose.

flipper35 03-24-2015 07:53 AM

My cousin's Dachshund ate a rabbit and proceeded to bring it back up on her living room floor. She was not impressed.

I think yours has a substance abuse problem!

It is fun to watch a dog that is a good hunter and see just how quick their reflexes are. Or cat for that matter.

GH85Carrera 03-24-2015 08:18 AM

It is cool to watch them trail some critter. Nose to the ground and go. Dog noses are just so amazing.

They had a recent case here in town where a cop pulled over a car for some issue. The driver was acting erratic so they brought in a drug dog. They said when the dog exited the car it was already catching the smell of drugs. They had several kilos of drugs vacuum packed in double layers. Covered in dryer sheets, hot sauce and peanut butter. The dog could sniff it out with ease.

The most amazing thing to me is knowing how sensitive a dogs sense of smell is they want to run up to a fresh steaming pile of poo and sniff carefully and that pile stinks from 10 feet away to my pitiful human nose.

flipper35 03-24-2015 10:25 AM

It takes a very discerning nose to tell what has been eaten and pooped out. :)

Contact fitting went well. I could only make out half the letters at the 20/10 line but read the line above easy. He says 20/13 with contacts and 20/20 with glasses. No wonder I hate the glasses. Still don't need reading glasses but they help. I could read the "Not for individual sale" fine print on the lens package so he said I am good.

Wow people are BSC.....dude on local craigslist is asking $16k for a 2000 Jag XK8 Coupe....another dude is asking $28.5k for a 2007 vert......and the dealership has a 2010 with a year of CPO warranty for 30....

And it's not just those.....every semi-local Jaguar or Pcar is priced like that.....friggin $30k ragged out base 996s...

RKDinOKC 03-24-2015 10:35 AM

I like my 94 928 GTS, Haggarty says it's worth $70K now.

Brother and Nephew that drive Ford SUVs keep telling me to sell it. Have since I first bought it for $15K less than the current value.
They told me the same thing with my $800 Range Rover I eventually Sold for $2500. But the Cayenne I replaced it with was $10K.
