That sounds like a good plan Jim, but I'm gunna have to win the lotto if I want to extend this retirement training course any more than I have already. :(

A week and a half to go before I have to retire from retirement again and go back to that w place. I'll have to put up with the wallies for four months before I take my next retirement training course.

Speaking of courses, I haven't been near the golf course for two days and am beginning to experience withdrawals. I must make amends for that tomorrow.

Good Morning

Didn't sleep much. Feels like I'm on a bad trip.

RKDinOKC 04-21-2015 06:48 AM

Porsche-poor 04-21-2015 07:19 AM

Brent, blend door actuator or the blend door has fallen off, they are famous for it

Pretty sure it is still on. You turn it to heat and you get heat, turn to cold and you get ambient air temp air out the vents so I assume the blend door is still working as it should. You can hear it sort of wheezing like it is trying to cycle on and off every few seconds.

RKDinOKC 04-21-2015 08:14 AM

Ah ha ha ha ha ha, The bonus was and on-time bonus. Got a $186 bonus for showing up to work uh er home on time. Funny.

Oh Haha 04-21-2015 08:39 AM

Forgot to tell you guys:

We saw a right hand drive new mustang last night. No pics because I didn't realize it was RHD until after it had gone past.

The manufacturers have been using some of the roads around Mid MI for testing so we see camo'd up vehicles alot. This was in a caravan with 2 other Ford products but not in camo, just flat black paint. I'm not a huge Mustang fan but it was cool to see.

I don't have a smart(a$$)phone so for me to shoot a pic takes a few extra steps. The shot is usually gone by then.

It's raining/sleeting now so the yardwork will have to wait for now.

Oh great, the IT people I work with have no idea what they are doing.

Porsche-poor 04-21-2015 12:20 PM

job security

RKDinOKC 04-21-2015 12:51 PM

They've set AD password policies the won't allow people to login to our AS400 apps because the AS400 does not support anything except lowercase alphanumeric characters.

Sweet, we are cleaning out our IT storage and found some Netware stuff. Practically NIB. I would be willing to give you a sweet deal on it and to make it worth your while, I will throw in Free shipping if you give me more than four digits for it.

Do we work for the same company? :D

Been negotiating a very basic phone service contract with a law firm today...the lawyer wants to mitigate all financial responsibility and essentially undermine the entire "contract" part of the contract...

I love liars...I mean, uh, lawyers.

I got lucky, The head of IT knows what he is doing where I work. They guy that works under him though, I wonder some times. Maybe he came up from Richard's place.

GH85Carrera 04-21-2015 02:11 PM

Since I am the IT department, computer repair, and other nerd duties the IT department here is great but running a peer to peer network is not a big challenge.

flipper35 04-21-2015 02:14 PM

Hey Glen, you could bid against Richard for the Netware package I have! It would be a perfect fit. Actually, I have 2 suites and will throw the other in for free. A two-fer!

GH85Carrera 04-21-2015 02:20 PM

We have a router. We even have a spare in a shrink-wrap box. We have a 24 port switch that is only just past 1/2 capacity and there are no plans to add more computers or employees. Heck we are still using two Windows 2000 computers that are 15 years old. They run the one program they were purchased to run with no problem.
