If you prefer to mix it up with coke, Sid, then you do not 'love' whiskey.
You better use some cheap azz scotch to put in your coke.
Don't make me come down there, ya hear....

I like whiskey (whisky) a lot, I'm not an expert at all, more an avid amateur
There are some nice bottles in my cabinet.

I once bought my dad a bottle of Knappogue Castle, vintage '51.... (his birthyear) botlled in 1986. The oldest and rarest Irish whiskey in existance (true story, look it up)
Bottle is still unopened.

It's also nice to see a woman who appreciates a nice glass of whiskey (occasionally accompanied by a good cigar).

(this was at least a bit relevant, no? )

Here it is, not to be mixed with coke....

Knappogue Castle 1951, the last of Mr. Andrews’ whiskey that remains available, is now the oldest and rarest Irish whiskey in the world. Knappogue 1951 is a traditional pot still whiskey which means it is made from both malted and unmalted barley. It was triple distilled in 1951 at the famous B. Daly Distillery in Tullamore and was aged to perfection in sherry casks for 36 years.

On the rocks.... never more than 1 ice cube or it waters down the whiskey too much.
And the ice cube is best made from neutral tasting bottled water... (but that's being anal, you can and may enjoy it with a regular ice cube )

I will second that motion.

TGIF

Tomorrow our local club will have a car show at Hooters. We sure don't go there for the food. We have a couple of the girls judge the cars. One year a 944 with very average paint won because he had a child seat in the car. Most of the time a red car seems to win. It is just a matter of which car the girls think is the cutest car. The fun part is the hanging out with the other members. For some reason I seem to be at the “rowdy” table. I hope to continue that tradition.
