Oh Haha 08-07-2015 05:59 AM

Nice weather here forecast for the entire weekend. Our town will close off the main drag tomorrow for an annual car show. Part of the Back to the Bricks event in Flint next weekend. The same time as the huge Woodward Cruise.

Lots of hot rods and muscle cars.

The pool is finally clearing up. Now, I remember why I didn't put it up for the last couple of years.

RKDinOKC 08-07-2015 06:11 AM

When house looking thought I might need to find one with a Pool because I just don't have enough stuff to manage and take care of...not.

Oh Haha 08-07-2015 06:16 AM

The best option would be to pay a company to maintain it for you.

Taking care of ours is now just part of my duties as housespouse. If I was still working we wouldn't have it up.

Off to see the wizard...wish me luck on the GTS!

GH85Carrera 08-07-2015 06:59 AM

It's one of those days, ya know, the kind where you just don't want to work. It's 75, perfectly sunny and no humidity...

Seems like a great day for reflection of how fortunate the Saucy family is to have the first world problems we have and the 2 little healthy guys that love to keep us awake at night. :)

Porsche-poor 08-07-2015 10:17 AM

I told the boss that if anything else goes wrong to day I'm going home and going back to bed for the rest of the year.

flipper35 08-07-2015 11:28 AM

Richard, ya shoulda yanked it out for them while you were there.

Me too, my friend! Sometimes you forget to be thankful for what you have.

Oh Haha 08-07-2015 11:52 AM

I'd be more thankful if we had the 911 back, though. Days like this were perfect for taking it out.

RKDinOKC 08-07-2015 12:33 PM

Going to have to check the schedule of the guy in CA and see what it would cost to ship GTS to him. Could make a fun trip out of driving it back depending on what kind of break-in the rings, etc. would need.

Don't know of anyone else I would trust with the internals on a 928.

RKDinOKC 08-07-2015 01:22 PM

Did you know?

Buzz Aldrin had to fill out customs forms when returning from the Moon.

GH85Carrera 08-07-2015 01:24 PM

Just to come into Hawaii they had to fill in forms and declare they had no fruits or flowers. Gotta keep bureaucrats busy.

RKDinOKC 08-07-2015 01:35 PM

Yep, Pacific Ocean, Hawaii customs...lists the Hornet as entry point. He declared $33.31?

flipper35 08-07-2015 01:46 PM

I guess he had to eat the moon fruit on the way back.

GH85Carrera 08-07-2015 01:46 PM

One of them filed a travel expense report as well.

I did wave to Neil, Buzz & Michael. Neil wave back at me. SmileWavy
