Life. I still have to run down to Savannah for a few hours and make it back in time for Krav.

Don't know how those chicks with the bangs hanging over one eye can see.

RKDinOKC 09-02-2015 10:48 AM

They fixed my iPhone. It can charge again! And I can hear it too.

GH85Carrera 09-02-2015 11:07 AM

So they just fixed your same old phone.

RKDinOKC 09-02-2015 11:09 AM

Yep same old phone. Just needed the cookie crumbs cleaned out of the charger and ear speaker holes.

GH85Carrera 09-02-2015 11:11 AM

So do they have a cookie crumb magnet? A really strong vacuum cleaner? Or that old biker chick that can suck start a Harley?

not sure I'd want my phone back in that case.

RKDinOKC 09-02-2015 12:06 PM

Don't know what he used. Took it to their secret back room and came back 10 minutes later with it fixed. Just said he cleaned it out. It wasn't wet OR sticky!

(Best Horseshack impression) Oooh, oooh, oooh, Mister Kotter, I have a question to ax you.

OK, enough horseplay, I have a question about a Sharps .54 Caliber Rifle. Here is what I know. It says Sharps on the side and says .54 Caliber Rifle and has a double trigger. Here is what I think I know. You load it with paper cartridges through a breech that drops down via lever action.

Is there a kit for these to roll your cartridges or do I grab some phone books and start cutting to shape and where do I get rounds for it? Looks like it should be conical bullets but could be ball. The action is all smooth and the triggers seem to be smooth.

I did find this online: http://www.possibleshop.com/did-you-know/d-y-k-shooting-1859-sharps.html

I admit it, I laughed out loud for that one.

Wish I knew, but that's outside my expertise.

Don't go to Walmart though. They stopped selling them.

Maybe Mr. trooper can actually hit some thing with that rifle.

Not for sale, my wife inherited it. But, it would be nice to know how they function properly. I suppose it was the assault spoon of the mid-late 1800s.

Jacob would like a nice AR but he can wait until he is past kindergarten and able to fully load a magazine. He can't even hunt for 5 more years. Then again, he saved over $100 in less than a year for his bomber so he could save up for a DPMS by the time he can participate in the mentoring program.

Richard, we have a few nice, privately owned stores close by. I don't mind getting .22 ammo at Wally's though.

If you can find one left on the shelf, they're pretty heavily discounted.

HHI944 09-02-2015 03:24 PM

The only shops we have close by are the PSA store and a small shop with insane prices....$550 for a used gen 3 Glock with 1 mag insane

Evening Y'all
Lets not discuss spoons. I missed the deal of the century on sat because I decided to go to cars and coffee first.
Savage 110BA in 338LM with a Schmidt&Bender on top with a bipod, used $1,500

HHI944 09-02-2015 04:45 PM

I'm reminded of the name of a Chines guy I met
Ho Lee Phuc

Rick V 09-02-2015 04:58 PM
