Git a new gig a mile from the house as the lead tech at the local shop. also scored a 12$ an hour raise.
So I am taking the week off and going t relax.
We also rescued an four year old make Main Coon this evening, he is very chill but my other kitties are not amused with the new arrival.
They will get over it.
it is nice when the job situation works out like that.

i've been using it for months. it is the biz.

Morning Y'all,
Well I went to bed last night before Beth and the new cat was sleeping on my feet when Beth came to bed.
He will NOT engage the other kitties when they hiss and try to be dominant, he is just chill.
We are keeping the youngest grandson this morning and Nero (the new kitty) has already decided he likes to be close to Ben (the grandson)
I think he is a keeper

Good score on the new cat and even better on a job that pays a nice step up more for your services.

Good Hump day morning folks.

Rick, we used to have a bulldog that was a lover not a fighter. Other dogs would bark and snarl and he would not even acknowledge them. I would take him on walks and we went by one house that had two miniature poodles that were yapping all the time. He never looked ant them but made a point to pee on the fence right in front of them.

If it was not something he could eat or screw he would pee on it.

And some folks just don't hump at all.

Yep, and she STILL will not go to the store to get her own milk.

The store is lass that 1/2 mile away and she can't work that into her busy schedule.

I can understand. Working from home, AND now that it's just me and the dog, I often put off the hassle of leaving the house to go to the grocery store until the fridge is down to only condiments. The main triggers for a trip to the store being dog food and toilet paper. Neither of which are kept in the fridge.

Oh, we only go to the grocery store about 10 times a year. We make a fruit run to Sam's about every 4 weeks. I go to the store that specializes in milk several times a week. Bananas, grapes, apples and oranges and peaches when available are my staples foods.

Yep, staying home to take care of Mom I think I've gotten too comfortable not going anywhere. I am happy to report I have not gotten to the point where sit around the house in my just my wife beater, boxer shorts and socks drinking beer.

Now THAT'S a mental image I could have done without.

It's pretty obvious you fellas don't have kids that eat groceries almost as fast as you buy them.

Seriously, I bought a gallon of milk yesterday and it was gone by bedtime. Neither my wife nor I drink it.

I am just mildly lactose intolerant. I have not had a glass of milk or a bowl of cereal in several decades.

Mrs Carrera uses skim milk on her cereal. That 0% stuff.

I am the only child around the place.

...when you're on vacation and your boss leaves you the voicemail..."call me back"

...because he didn't read the email you sent the day prior in preparation for your time away...
