The was a reason I choose these wheels for my last 944 Turbo...

They called Carrera lightweights, the lightest weight 18" wheel I could find minimizing the loss of acceleration due to upsizing.
It originally had 16" Forged Club Sports...also a very light weight wheel.

Problem was tire choices with 16 in rims.

They make a paint for that.

Actually, that was the first tire in the list and there may be other sidewall options but I doubt white is one of them.

Yep, he'll have grand prix whitewalls. Good for shaving 1-3 seconds off his lap times.

Glen, don't feel bad. Try finding a good speed rated tire on 15" for a Cobra replica that lasts more that a couple years for a decent price.

245/60/15 for the front and 295/50/15 for the rear.

I might break down and go 225/65/15 on the front and 275/50/15 on the rear with a set of Avons.

David, I have power tools. Would you like to borrow a drill to let that pain leak out of your noggin?

Sorry about Connor's friend's suicide. I hope it doesn't get to him.

Tire choice is also why I went from stock 17in wheels to 18 on the GTS...

What brand are those?

The thing I will miss the most about the old 15 inch tires is price. My last set of 4 was under $500 mounted and balanced.

If I can find some 16 inch wheels to borrow I will try the 16. I just worry that tire choice will soon vanish like the 15s.

N3 (Porsche) is Michelin Pilot Sport 2's, I think. Probably what I'd get (in 17s) for the garage queen.

Those were POTENZA S-02 tires but the PS2 is a great tire. So is the BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2.

That's odd. My tires in 17s (+1) with N3 clarifier are Michelin PS2s

If the nap wore you out you might consider going to bed for the night.

I was shocked and surprised when I came home Mrs. Carrera was actually in the kitchen cooking up some spaghetti. Yum.

It is the first time the stove has been on in many months. It is nice to see that it still works.
