At the grocery store this afternoon the butcher was putting out more ground beast. Complained about no smaller cuts like roasts for single people or couples that didn't want to eat leftover roast beast all week. He took a big roast back to the back and brought me out a 1/2 lb. roast. I'm going to have a nice roast beast Sunday dinner!

Went all Gordon Ramsey today. Made a pot roast, and while it was cookin baked me some chocolate chip cookies.
The two serving pot roast with carrots and taters was delicious. Only ate one serving and am so full could only eat one cookie.

Making plans to go to the 928 gathering in Marble Falls TX the first weekend in November.
Looking for Dog storage for Pepper while I'm gone. May have found a lady that will not only board Pepper...Pepper would stay in the house with her and her other goldens, not outside in a kennel, And she will have Pepper participate in the daily training she does with her dogs.

We know some friends that take their dog to doggy day care. The dog plays and plays and plays. Comes home tired and happy. He is thrilled to go.
No doubt the best thing we did was get two dogs that play with each other all the time. They are best buddies.
