Heck yeah, wish I could find that around here.

Oh yeah, and the dog storage lady says she gives the dog a bath and grooming before you pick them up.

Note to self, visit east coast again before Rick moves.

When we go on vacation mom and dad watch our dogs. The dogs stay at our house since the weather is always nice and if it looks like it will storm dad lets them in the garage. Dad comes up to check on them and feed them. He throws their toys for them until they get tuckered out. There is a automatic waterer in the summer and he checks that. Mom sends all the table scraps so both are a bit heavier when we get back. I figure it makes up for us not being around. They play together pretty well, thought the beagle gets bored and goes back to hunting everything in the yard.

If we had a service that trains for that price I would be all over it.

Richard, the dog trainer lady sounds like a good deal. I wonder what the bed and biscuit vets office that is next to the gas station and Sonic charges?

There is another place on Wilshire called Sit Stay! I like the name but I have no idea if either place is worthwhile.

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 10:40 AM

Called a few boarders and the going rate seems to be $25 a day. They all ask how big my dog is so feel like that price is for an outdoor kennel with dog run (according to what's offered on their web site.) That's what my dog lady charges without the training.

My friend in Austin's sister, Karen lives here in OKC and is really into Goldens. Karen has had as many as 5 at one time. Karen's current golden is an agility dog. She is very picky and only has two people she will leave her dogs with. One just has kennel/dog runs on a big farm. She breeds and trains goldens for bird hunting. The other is the lady I called, Shelli that keeps the dogs in her home. Shelli made the comment that she only does goldens and that Karen is the only person she has or would leave her dogs with.

Thinking the training thing sounds worth it for a wild child puppy like Pepper. Shelli is also one of the golden people I need to get in good with if I decide to let Pepper have puppies. Karen says they have a welping box they share.

Nipple lube marketing factoid. There are more nipples on earth than people!

Almost twice as many!

Zebra bites Muskogee man's nipple | www.fox23.com

I love the internet for stories like this one. What are the odds of a dude getting his nipple bitten off by a Zebra in Muskogee, OK?

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 02:12 PM

If you ever had your nipple bitten off by a beaver...you might be a red neck.

Jeff Foxworthy says that comes from a true story and the guy even showed him his missing nipple.

Ended up having to pay and HP Printer users tax this afternoon. After 6 months both my brothers HP printers started disappearing from the network. If you restarted the printer you could print to it for 2 minutes, then it would disappear and you had to restart it again to print to it. Ended up calling HP and they charged $25 per printer to go change some special settings that can only be accessed holding down a key when opening the printer with the print driver. They could not or would not tell me why the printers worked fine, then suddenly required these hidden settings to be changed. NOTHING changed on my brothers computers, printers, or network.

My brother just bought these printers 6 months ago because the print drivers for his older HP printers print drivers quit working and there are no updates. My old Brother 3 in ! color laser printer just keeps working.

GH85Carrera 10-12-2015 03:49 PM

I had a HP laser printer that I bought 17 years ago. The printer drivers were for Windows 3.3. Win 7 simply would not allow me to adjust the print density. After I put a new toner cartridge in it printed way to dark.
I finally just broke down and bought a new Brother printer that is Air Print ready so Mrs Carrera can print to it from her iPad. I think the old HP would be fine with a XP computer.
It is sitting on a shelf at work.

Evening Y'all,
There is a reason I like cats, they are much easier and they almost have us trained the way they want us

motion 10-12-2015 05:09 PM

Happy Monday all.

I love cats!

Wife and I are in Buenos Aires killing time for 5 days before our flight home. Not a fan. Why do Catholic cultures love trash so much? I've never been able to figure that one out.

Jim Richards 10-12-2015 06:59 PM

My wife's allergic to cats. I'm ambivalent to the beasties. Being back in DC sucks. Two and a half months to the next SoCal work-cation. I'm ready to go now.

Have had a Golden Retriever for the last 30 years. First one, Penny for 17, last one, Camber for 13. Current one, Pepper since February.

Grew up with great Seal Point Siamese cats. After those passed brother brought home a blue point Siamese. Wouldn't let anyone touch it. If you tried it would make a fist and slug you (it was de-clawed). It would leave a bruise the size of a quarter. After it passed one of Mom's friends gave her another blue point, it was crazy too, didn't like to be petted either. It would sit in Mom's lap for 10 minutes then it was done. Got the Maine Coon for Mom when the blue point passed. It didn't like sitting on Mom's lap so when it started pooping on the carpet instead of litter box I let one of Mom's nurses have it. Since the last three were more trouble than they are worth think I am done with cats.

Brother that stayed with us got a kitten right before he moved out. You had to be really careful when you went to visit because that cat would sneak up and attack people and draw blood. They kept a squirt bottle of water with them all the time to defend themselves. I honestly don't know why they put up with it.

Morning ladies and gents

Never had cats, don't not like them, just never been interested in them. The ones I've met know it too.

Tomorrows my Friday, woohoo.

I'm playing golf for a charity event on Thursday, the entry fee includes lunch, dinner and an open bar. I told work I'd prolly still be too drunk Friday morning to play, so I'll just take that day as well. They agreed it was a good idea.

I'm planning on having a good quantity of the best beer in the world.

Goo Mor Grou

Bro flyin to Mayo Clinic today. Hope they can stop his Trigeminal Neuralgia (face pain most likely caused by MS) without removing all the nerves to the left side of his face. That would suck as bad as the pain.

What language is Goo Mor Grou and what does it mean?

Outback Porsche 10-13-2015 06:08 AM

That sounds nasty, hope they can fix it too.

I found out that my dad had a couple of kidney stones removed this morning. Spoke with him this arvo and he seems to be recovering well and was hoping to be discharged from hospital later today. I would have thought they'd keep him in at least overnight but he seem pretty confident they were gunna let him go? Anyway, it's the old buggers birthday tomorrow. Happy bloody (literally) birthday ay.
