4.7 miles in 1hr 10min. Traffic sucks in the morning and the client could be in a worse place.
|
Smoking fast.
Low single digit speed. I hope you were not driving a stick shift. |
Nope. Auto. There was a reason I wanted a cheap, reliable, automatic as my work car. :)
|
Back from the DR.... Turns out it was just the Canker sore causing all kinds of problems... He cauterized with Silver Nitrate... I'm out $5 and it should get better now...
|
Good choice!
That is the number one reason to have an automatic transmission. |
Great day for a nice cruize up the highway to the body shop. The fried catfish lunch was good too.
Really like the GTS. It always gets raving comments despite the motor placement. It does have that great V8 rumble. http://www.zipbang.com/928gts/zaino.jpg Also had a 90 GT that I really liked. Not quite as aggressive looking without the rear fender flares. http://www.zipbang.com/928/90gt.jpg It had a 5 liter instead of a 5.4 like the GTS but with it's more aggressive cams it sounded better, more musical. Thinking seriously about putting GT cams in the GTS at some point. |
My cheap reliable around town transportation is a 92 Range Rover, LOL. Can't complaint, it only costed me $1800 so far and it trundles around town just great. Even has a low speed transaxle for those 4 mile and hour traffic jams. :)
http://www.zipbang.com/rover/rover.jpg Pretty much the complete opposite of the GTS. |
They are not complete opposites. They are both blue! :)

Evening guys... Hung out in the dorms for a bit working on Ochem... Now off to my computer class... My ear still hurts, Should have gone and gotten that Tylenol#3 scrip filled....

I just got home from work. Killed a mouse out on the front fence with my lacrosse stick on the way on. Oorg. I kinda feel gross. Sucker squealed as I smacked him.
Glad you feel better, Sid. If it's any consolation, my Orgo (what we called O Chem) professor was a great guy. Holocaust survivor, Nobel prize winner, like having a grandfather teach you. But the class still sucked. |

Morning guys!! We had a tablefootball tournament here at work yesterday.... Guess who won?? ME, OF COURSE!! Wheeeeeee!! |
I thought you were supposed to work at work?
So I've been given a choice of research projects for my computer forensics class... A) Write a college level paper discussing a criminal case where computer forensics played a vital role in the outcome of the trial.. B) Prepare a business style proposal for a new computer forensics lab for 4 investigators and one administrative assistant. Budget of 150k and include layout of office space of 1500sqft. Include any needed extra HVAC, electrical, or networking runs. In the proposal discuss benefits this lab would provide to a company. I'm leaning towards option b... Might be a little more leg work, but it is something that interests me and that I would be better at researching. The way I see it, it would be very similar to the proposal I had to do for my Eagle Scout.l |
Both are interesting, but I would lean towards option B as well.
Option A is limited IMO, too narrow. |
I think it will be a problem finding a case with sufficient data etc....
He said we don't have to itemize cost on the HVAC, networking, and electrical. Just figure a rough estimate that sounds reasonable to cover it. Will have to be more specific on the forensic equipment costs though. |
The proposal does include more than just a list of prices for the equipment, no? Otherwise it would not be much of a project.
Does it include the complete setting up of a lab bearing in mind the needs of the researchers, the specifics of the type of research and stuff? |
