Ronnie and Silber are banned because "they turned a very meaningful thread into OT".
That is a decision I can not argue, and will not. BUT.... If you really think they are were out of line, go visit some other forums. Take your time and see the level of maturity out there. Then be grateful that it is THE tolerance here what makes these forums the greatest place to hang out. I am using today's event as an example HERE "Search nazis" and "maturity police" here are worst than some back and forth nonsense those guys put up at times. You want couple of funny guys at your forums. You want them to go a bit too far. It is called FUN. Amazes me how some people get so stuck up... |

Our gas mileage is 50% better since our trailer was stolen.

See you at breakfast in the morning, thats one of our favorite spots, I'll call and make a reservation when I get up. and FUUUUCH cancer. Just found a friend of ours not much older than me was diagnosed with cancer this week. She just got married last year, and I helped them buy their home. Great people.

The big C really sucks. One of our dear friends died from it a few years ago. Really, really sad.

Woke up, fixed me a cup of oat meal. Drank my protein shake. Still contemplating on heading the gym. Got maybe 6 hours of sleep. Need more. I am also debating to drive up to Houston to pick up these parts I negotiated. Not backing down from the deal but feeling lazy for the drive. Maybe I need a ride to reset. It has been a ****ed up week. I don't know.

Keep us posted on the trailer Jim. I've got some friends that live just outside of Albuquerque (Rio Rancho). If you need some local help there let me know.

Thanks Pete. I'm not sure what can be done. Albuquerque's police met with us yesterday morning. But I appreciate the offer!

Some of our photos, some of our important docs are lost. We've been busy working with banks, cc companies, etc to make sure everything is secure. Gotta get a new title for the clapped out Jetta so we can sell it one of these days. More stuff to do...thanks Albuquerque!

Those persons of unknown fraternal descent.
With all the RFID technology being used nowadays, surprised rental companies don't track their assets. Maybe that's a good business opportunity, selling tracking devices and software to rental companies. Besides a more accurate inventory system, they could more easily work with authorities to recover and persecute. If not for their own asset management it could be a major differentiation between them and other rental companies. It could work with an iPhone app so you could set a parked mode that alerts you and the authorities when the asset is moved while in parked mode. Bet it could be done for less than $100 per asset.
