Phew.

The 911 is all cleaned up. Leather treated, windows cleaned all pretty and clean.

Then to have even more fun I mowed the yard. It was hot. My sweat glands were flushed out.

Good Monday, um Tuesday morning everyone!

Monday is already over! :D

My 12 year old computer that I am typing this on is fighting me. This morning I cam in and had to update some things and suddenly one of the monitors decided not to work. I can switch to the other computer and both monitors are working fine. Both monitors were working before the updates. I don't yet know what is wrong but I have to figure it out. Operating with just one monitor is horrible.

Good freaking Morning.

So nice of Microsloth to release updates over a holiday weekend to give everyone coming back from holiday a new distain for their job. The "update" seems to have killed everyone's login authentications for anything they need to do their job too.

On Sunday I checked out my Mom's new car. She leased a new Malibu and traded in her Chrysler 200.

It's nice but bland. It's got the turbocharged 4 cylinder but I didn't drive it.

The Accord she had a few years back was nicer than both, though. I wish we would have bought it at the time.

We are taking all of the kids to the zoo today. Weather dudes are saying it's going to be hot and humid so the pool will be used extensively.

GH85Carrera 07-05-2016 07:14 AM

I update the other computer and now it only has one monitor.

In insert very long string of profanity here.

Morning all. I'm back from Italy and missing the time off already.

RKDinOKC 07-05-2016 08:15 AM

Bentornato

Porsche-poor 07-05-2016 08:16 AM

What was funny was during the entire time there I saw only one Ferrari and five Porsches.

RKDinOKC 07-05-2016 08:21 AM

ora tornare al lavoro

RKDinOKC 07-05-2016 08:23 AM

Just cause they make em don't mean they can afford em.

Porsche-poor 07-05-2016 08:25 AM

very true. Lots of little cars and the scooters are like bugs. Swarms of the things on the roads.

^^^^That's cause they're all here in LA. If you stand on the street in front of my office during daylight, you'll see that many drive by in an hour. Mebbe 30 minutes. The local Sunday morning car show had a McLaren day last month; there must have been about 50 of them that showed up.

Porsche-poor 07-05-2016 08:45 AM

We had a blast. The art is amazing. The food off the charts.

flipper35 07-05-2016 12:47 PM

I imagine it is better than the americanized stuff here. We have good food here, but it makes use of stuff grown or made here.

Porsche-poor 07-05-2016 12:56 PM

That it is. Most often the place we ate the meals were from market supplies of the day.

RKDinOKC 07-05-2016 01:06 PM

Most of our eating establishments receive their foodstuffs from suppliers. Don't know of many places around here that have chefs that go pic their daily foodstuffs from the "market" for making up their menu items for the day. Well maybe except for the few weirdo vegan places.

Porsche-poor 07-05-2016 01:10 PM

A few places we ate at had printed menus but there were a few that had chalkboards and the menu changed from day to day.
