Glen won't mind if you drop in on him for lunch.

Have been known for driving pretty fast on occasion, but don't think even I could make it from OKC to Indianapolis in 3 hours. That's 250 mph! My 928 only goes 190 and I would have to stop for gas and maybe tires and a change of underwear.
My best including stops is 100. Well there was this one time my Mom was taken to the heart hospital in Tulsa. Made it there in just under an hour. I was in my BoxsterS. It's 125 miles from my house to the Hospital and all toll road interstate highway. |
Glen,
Meeting Dennis Gage is awesome. When I was a little kid I ALWAYS watched My Classic Car, he was the first car review "personality" I learned to love. Shifting mental gears...If you meet Magnus, let us know if he smells the way he looks. Got that?! |
Morning all. 4 days off lots of driving. Now my butt is at the office wondering what happened?
|
^Perhaps you mentioned and I didn't follow...where'd ya go...?
|
Went to Bend Oregon. Wife still has family there. Counting the days till the real summer vacation.

We are eating at a German restaurant before we go to the track. I guess no German beer with lunch. |
Burp. Good German food. On the way real soon to the track.

if you ate to much will that mess up the corner balance?

What did they make you put that band on?
|
|
That is so cool.
|
Sweet!

We are back in the hotel room.
They made every person that went on track sign a full page waiver. They may well own my car now for all I could tell with the waiver. They wanted name address, phone number and driver's license number and they had to see your DL and they put the band on your wrist. No doubt they have been sued many times and want to preempt more suits. The track is cool. I got to run it up to 75 or so and then slow back down. The corners are WAY more banked than I thought. It would be a blast to do the F1 track. We did not get to see that part. The museum is cool too. Tomorrow is the Jim Beam & Jack Daniels tour. |
Stijn!!

Very cool Glen. Were you allowed to do a hot lap or were you paced?

For those of you who remember FastPat, he is leading the charge in South Carolina to keep the Confederate flag flying at the capitol.
His name is Pat Heinz and he is all over the "news" |
