This is one of the big differences between the rest of the world and the US. One of our most enjoyable activities outside the US is going to local markets.

I understand there are good farmers markets in some parts of the US but I've yet to see one that compares to what you see elsewhere.

As much as I liked the food in Italy, I thought Spain was even better and much more affordable.

When I was a kid, sold my garden goods (okra) to the local grocery store.
Sure glad they bought it cause I sure didn't want to actually Eat that stuff.

Guess the big difference is they have the centralized town Market or Market Street, and we have lots of Stores all over the place.

Well, guess small towns have Walmart, poor bastarcls.

I don't know about Italy, but you're right on the mark about Spain.

Our next pet is going to be a pigmy goat!

Saw some at the zoo today and they are cute as heck. I don't care for small, yippy dogs but these are bigger than that.

Prolly should check with the wife first, though.

Later we have to meet my sister to give her girls back. Meeting halfway to make it easier on both parties.

Wifey is back to work today after taking an extra day after the holiday. She has 3 weeks of vacation but probably won't take them.

The doctor and I hit it off well. His extended family owns the Porsche dealer in Lansing AND he owned a 1982 Turbo Carrera AND he played guitar in a well known Detroit rock band in the 80s's.

He and his dad just brought home a 1970 Daytona Superbird barnfind to restore.

Oh,and we scheduled some intensive testing for my son.

I hope all the doctor visits go well. I hope to not see a doctor for a medical appoitment for a while. That is always a goal!

My regular GP is in the Porsche club. He has a RUF 911 SC.

My pediatrist used to have a Porsche. Now he has a Buick Grand National. Says he likes cruising at 70, floor it and spin the tires. Says it's not the GNX so he can hot rod it without ruining the value. The internal medicine doctor that does my colonoscopies drives a 928.
