We flew a job for an engineering company that the final customer is the federal government. We have a very expensive airborne GPS system that is triggered on each each exposure so we know the exact position of the airplane and the exact time down to the hundredth of a second the shutter was fired. The engineering company is required to provide data that they make us figure out. They need the precise angle of the sun for each exposure. So the right ascension, azimuth and yada yada. No other client needs that but since it is in the contract, we get to dig it up.

We have a goofy spreadsheet the pilot has to fill out and enter all sorts of silly details that no one will ever look at, but what the heck, they want it we provide it. It would be fascinating to find out what they do with it beside fill out some form that no one needs. Likely in triplicate and file the TPS report promptly.

Speaking of naps, I have had just about zero energy to do anything since I came back from the hospital. I used to be up at 5am or earlier and go go, go all day without even feeling it. I could never tolerate just sitting around but here I am...:(

Our beagle got sprayed by a skunk. Looks like I will be getting rid of the smelly things. I usually try not to, but I would rather have the smell in the field a few days rather than roaming around the yard on the dog. He is bad even after the peroxide/dawn stuff. I wonder if I dip him in Fabreeze...

let him stink. Make for a good Halloween decoration.

We are out in the country. No trick or treaters. I would let him stink, but I could smell him while I was driving to the house. I am sure he hasn't learned his lesson either.

I took the Malibu for a ride tonight. It's brand new so it has that going on but it was not exciting at all. Romped on it a few times but it is NOT a hotrod. I'm pretty sure I could take it with my truck which is a slug itself. It DOES apparently get really MPG with the turbo 4cyl.

My wife got it at the dealership that I swore I would never buy from. The owner and her husband are connivers. He was the Mayor of Flint for a few years but did nothing but cause problems and was always getting sued by someone for a deal he made. Their commercials always pushed how much they support the UAW and "don't buy foreign vehicles or you are horrible person". The wife has her name on the dealership and just annoys the crap out of me when she turns up on tv.

I've already removed any remnants of the dealer name from the car. Bite me, Patsy Lou!
