Yea, our driveway is huge when I have to shovel the snow. Just right the rest of the time. We can have two guests park on the upper part and leave the ramp open and still get in and out of the garage. Speaking of that, Richard I need to borrow some space on your little driveway. No really. The Infinity gets sold on Saturday but right now is outside on the driveway. My nephew is coming tomorrow from Alabama in his pickup pulling a trailer. We want to have space for his truck and trailer so can we park the Infinity overnight Friday at your place? It is that or the street out front. The kid that is buying it comes sometime Saturday so it will not be long before it is sold.

You can park it in the drive or garage either one. I got an open slot not that the CayenneS is gone and the 928 is not finish yet.

Man, who parked the Macan all crookedy?

It is not as crooked as it seems. The garage is on the side of the house. We come up the driveway and have to turn 90 degrees to get in the garage. To get out we have to swing the other way to backup. For the really long Elky I pull up to the fence at the edge of the driveway and back in. That way I can just pull foreword to leave. The spot in the middle has a ton of room. It is just easier to park a little crooked so we don't have to back up to get in straight. As I said the Elky and the Macan can open doors all the way with no issues. The passenger for the 911 has a lot of room. I do park close to the wall in the 911 but even an old fat dude with an artificial hip like me can get in with no issues.

When I bought this house the garage and driveway size had definately taken a much lower priority than wheelchair accessibility inside and rolling in/out the front door. This one there were no steps from the driveway thru the front door and the hallway was wider than most (wide enough for a wheel chair.)

It was more accessible than anything else we looked at. And we looked at a LOT of houses. One of only two houses we looked at that were listed as accessible had a fully accessible bedroom with roll in shower, wheelchair toilet, sink, and desk. Problem with it was steps to get in/out that couldn't be remodeled into a ramp (no room). The kitchen table was a booth. The accessible room had a sliding glass door to go outside, but it was 2 steps down to get out the door? The other one had rails put in a bathroom and the hallway as too narrow to fit an adult in a wheelchair to get to that bathroom. It also had steps to get in an out of the house.

With all the older people being taken care of, If you want to sell a house really fast, make it truely wheelchair accessible.

I have heard a picture is worth a 1,000 words so here is a picture. I know this aerial photo company that was shooting right in the area anyway so I get some photos of my house, or the most important part, the garage.

The parking lot is squared off but the tree blocks the view of that area in the far right of the photo. The single space is where I have my lift and work bay. You can see the wall goes back and that is the workbench area. It also makes it clear why I just back in. I can just pull into the driveway and forward up to the fence then straight back into the garage, I can leave in by just pulling forward with no backing.

It is a ton to shovel snow from. That garden area in front of the garage was just grass when we moved in. It has been changed around many times. Right now all those bigger bushes in the garden are history and it will be transformed again with Mrs Carrera pointing and grunting where she wants holes dug to plant a new bush. The area in the foreground behind the wall has been transformed yet again and has plans for lots more holes to be dug this year. It too was grass that I mowed when we moved in.

Was that one of them drone shots?

Might be fun to have a drone shot that starts like that, then lowers down to car level, goes up the drive and in one garage door, then out the other, then back up to the overhead shot.

When I set up my iPhone as a dash cam for autocrossing I just had to make a video of going to the corner gas station and back. Then monkey with the video.

No that was shot with a human in an airplane. It was funny that the paying customer was the bank on the corner. We flew that job and I asked our pilot to shoot some of my house since he was so close. Some dude in the neighborhood close to the bank actually saw our aircraft, whipped out his binoculars and got the tail number. He looked us up on the FAA site and called us wanting to know why we had been flying over his house. I wanted to tell him none of your business but I was polite and said we were flying a nearby business. He said he would report us for flying over his house and that made me laugh. I told him go right ahead. He can report us for driving our car to the airport and stopping for lunch but no one anywhere cares. We can fly over his house all day if we want and aircraft fly over houses every minute of the day all across the country.

I understand our gubment is tryin ta make it legal ta shoot down dem evil spyin drone thangs if they gets too close to yer propaty. Maybe that guy thought an airplane with a tail number was somehow unpiloted.

Yea, the stupid state legislator tried to pass that. If the UAV has a FAA registration which is required for any UAV above the smallest toy it is considered an aircraft by the FAA. Of course for most commercial use they are restricted to 400 feet. The UAV we have at 200 feet is totally quiet. No human can hear it. That idiot legislator did not mention HOW people could 'shoot" it down in the city limits. Firing a shotgun is go to jail time unless your life is in danger.

The FAA trumps any state law anyway. Since we are in aircraft and flying in full accordance with the FAA we can fly anywhere that does not have a flight restriction. Places like Fort Sill have flight restrictions especially when they are firing cannons. If the range is closed that don't care at all if you fly over. If the President comes to town there is a temporary flight restriction in a large area around him.

It is 100% legal for us to take off from the airport we keep our airplane at and never turn on the radio. We can fly off to the west and fly around and take pictures and land and never talk to anyone and never file a plan. Just like driving a car, you don't need permission to go for a drive.

Now if we fly towards downtown or get even close to Will Rogers airport or Tinker AFB they will want to talk to you.

My nephew is on the road from Alabama to our house. He will spent two nights with us and then head off to Colorado. Earlier in the week we was saying he would leave Alabama at 5:30AM or so. He did not actually get on the road until 8:30.

I remember back in the olden days when I was 28. Getting up at 5:30 was tough back then. It ain't fun now days either. It will be nice to see him this evening.

I ordered a different personalized tag for my 911 way-back in December of 2015. They of course cashed the check right away. It is supposed to take 3 to 4 months to get the tag. I forgot until last summer and I called the tax commission and had my canceled check information and they looked up the order. They said the order had been misplaced so I faxed it to Robert at the fax number he gave me. I waited 6 months and still no tag so I called again.

Today they said the people that actually make the tags printed it wrong so it just starts over. The tag will be here in another few months he promised. Yea, right. I asked it if would be expired when I finally get it and he said it would be good for 12 months when they send it out.

My current personalized tag on the 911 is expired but the real tag is legal. If I get stopped (unlikely) I will have the proper tag in the car where it always is. I figure it is the tag commission's fault so I am not buying a second tag even if it is just 20 bucks.

Lol, if you gonna lose and hour might as well lose it at work.

Looked at the Macans when got the Cayenne Turbo. Not in my 2nd vehicle for adverse weathe price range yet.
Also looked at Panameras. They were the same price range as the Macan.
