Mrs Noah watched "Concussion" last night and liked it a lot. I fell asleep in bed listening to her watch it, but it sounded good.

Had a spoon called a Jerico. It had interchangeable 9mm and .45 ACP barrels and mags. Idea was could use cheap 9mm for practice and .45 acp for carry protection. Found that since was basically the same spoon, with a little practice getting used to the difference in kick shot the same accuracy like your right example with both. Did a lot of home loading and filling targets to get accuracy up.

However, with a 357 desert eagle had before without running much thru it could put the entire mag in only 3 very tight holes. More accurate but was just too big for my hands. Ended up trading it for a Macintosh IIfx and getting the smaller Jerico.

Later sold the Jerico to get more R/C plane stuff.

Haha! That's usually how it goes for movies at our house!

Have fun for the Holiday! Wish we could have come out with the boys and spent it with you guys, but with my folks in town and everything else that's going on we just didn't have time! Will be beach time before long though!

When bedridden with the foot thing watched a LOT of movies. If couldn't make it through the 2nd time without falling asleep, gave up on it and went on to another movie that kept my interest enough to stay awake thru. Pain killers didn't help the situation either.

There is a channel on my Sony Bravia the just cycles thru funny Yputube clips. It's like AFV without the talking or commercials. Went for 4 days one right after the other. The funniest videos were Cats being startled like the Cucumber videos.

The comedian that made me laugh so hard I had to pause it to breathe was Ben Bailey from Cash Cab. His stand up routine wiped me out.

Good Thursday er Friday like day.

After today take the rest of the year off. Just tell the boss Glen said it would be OK.

We are working 1/2 day today. Right after I get home we will head over to some friends house to watch the OU - Clemson game. Mostly they have free food so it is OK.

Mornin' all. I see I missed a good breakfast.

Short day here and done for the year. Should be sunny and little wind for the weekend. Of course it wont be warm in any way, shape or form.

I see the pilots bill of rights is pushing through congress. That will save me a couple hundred dollars a year.

So anything special for new years or just relaxing at home? I plan to do nothing for a change. Christmas is too hectic and can use the change of pace.

Hey all.

We have not been out on NYE in many years. Not big into the party crowd thing.

The in-laws invited us over tonight for some dinner and cards. We will probably be home before 12.

Morning all. I'll be in bed before 12. Hoping to blow this pop stand early and head to lunch with the wife and kidos.

I don't remember being awake at midnight on new years eve since 2000. I stayed up to see if the world was going to collapse from the Y2K bug. Nothing at all happened as I expected so I went to bed. I expect to continue my tradition of sleeping through NYE. It is just another night.

I just got my W-2. Crap I pay a lot of taxes. Too dang much. I am glad I have a job to have to be taxed but it sure takes away incentive to earn more so I can give a free ride to the lazy.

Since I have no deductions at all I am on the KY plan and I have to supply my own KY lube, bend over and take it like a proctologist mining for gold. OUCH.

it is that time of year. Better yet we just sat thru a "we had a great year" meeting last week and now here is the end of the year and as far as we can tell the profits went home with the boss as in no year end bonus was given.

We ain't gettin no bonus cause the oil business sucks right now. But we did get a $250 Christmas Gift anyways. Had to spend mine on getting hole in roof fixed from the freaking ice storm.

Taxes gonna be higher, only get to claim Mom for 3 months this year.

Mr Bama also killed most of my home office deductions last year.

By the way Sid, the reason the .45 guys only need one shot is that is all they can afford.

When I had my first job with a paycheck I was whining to my dad about not getting a Christmas bonus. He just snorted and said the USAF does not give any sort of bonus or overtime or a gift even after you work 18 hours a day 7 days a week for months on end. He had no sympathy for my plight.

He said after he was promoted to Lt. Col. and became friends with a local general that liked to play golf they could always get the perfect t-time anytime the general wanted to play a round. He considered that his bonus. It was strange that the t-time was always open for the general.

My parents are leaving in the AM, and we don't have the boys tonight. I suspect we will all go to bed before 12 as well.

Well with the roof and the gutter repairs I am down $400. And that don't include buying a chain saw to clean up the Cottonwood.

No plans for ringing anything here.
