Or forget to take the cap off!

Though I did get a wrist strap in a photo once. The wind blew just as I snapped it. Stinker.

Yea, I will likely post photos if it happens.

I went to the dermatologist for my yearly checkup. No bad pookie places, and no treatment except to my debit card for the co-pay. Cool.

My RC trainer had flames!

And all my RC planes with a cockpit had a crash test dummy in it.

The metal flake blue 10 speed with red and yellow flames must have really looked cool to someone besides me. It got the chain snipped and stolen. Don't know what happened to it. It was a unique paint job in a small college town and I never saw it anywhere.

An oh, yeah, painted the 10 speed before college. It was my major mode of transportation before getting a car. I got hit by a car and had to straighten and weld the head tube back on. Welding it messed up the paint so stripped and repainted it. I even took the label off the name plate on the front of the headtube and engraved my initials on it.

Got a really cheap 10 speed to replace it. There was something messed up with the derailur and it would not stay in low gear. It would slowly shift up to 4th. It was kinda cool because it was the same speed you would regularly upshift. It was like having an automatic transmission on a 10 speed bike. Great for riding hands free carrying stuff to class.

Yeah it was probably resold as parts at the local used bike shop. Didn't really take time to look.
I know when my hub caps went missing off my 71 Satellite I bought more at the city hob cap salvage and wondered if I was purchasing mine back.

The automatic 10speed didn't look as cool. Actually, looked like junk, but was functional. And because it looked cheap and like it had issues it never got messed with in the school bike racks. They were probably waiting for me to buy my old bike as parts from the bike shop.

During college my car ownership went from 3 to zero. So, the summer after graduation the first thing I got with my first paycheck was a nice 10speed commuter bike so could save for a car. Worked on night shift so set it up with lights and a rear luggage rack for the 8 mile ride to work. While the college bike was great for going back and forth to class, it severely lacked as a commuter bike. With the commuter bike could make it to work and back in the same amount of time as if i had a car.

Before the end of summer and the weather started getting rough picked up a 77 Cutlass Salon from a fellow co-worker. He sold it to me cheap because the carpet was shredded. Otherwise it looked and ran great. Bought a remnant and replaced the carpet myself, and even carpeted the trunk. Used a heat gun to make the carpet fit like it was that molded carpet stuff they put in cars. When I sold it I got what i was asking for when the guy opened the trunk and saw the nice molded in carpet matching the interior. He couldn't give me the money fast enough.

Ended up giving my old college 10 speed to brother Bob. He was living in an apartment and got his stolen. The spent a bunch of money fixing it, including replacing the derailurs because he didn't like the auto upshifting. After fixing it up, it got stolen as well.

Was on support chat with Apple iPhone support for 2 hrs yesterday. Seems there is no way to keep the stupid thing from making sound notifications if you have them turned on at all while on speaker phone. What an annoying interruption. It just vibrates when you hold the phone to your ear and talk, why not ANYTIME you are on a call. Seems stupid to me. As long as the iPhone has been out and they haven't figured that out yet.

Howdy. What a morning. The world of high finance sucks. Getting a loan to buy an airplane is about as much fun as a home mortgage. I have to do a wife transfer for just the down payment escrow amount that is more than I paid for my brand new 914 by several grand. Yea, there has been a lot of inflation in the dollar since 1974 so it is not a really valid comparison, but I will make it anyway.

I make the wire transfer and wait for the bankers to get up off the floor after rolling around on the floor laughing hysterically at us asking to borrow that money. well maybe not.

I have not had a loan of any sort in over 20 years.

A wife transfer is pretty harsh.
