The first photos proves you are still "down under"
![]() We had a nice uneventful flight yesterday, except the clouds were hard to manage as usual. There is just no reasoning with them. Kinda like talking to a bureaucrat or government worker. We just have to work around them. Can't go through em, can't make em go away, just go around em.

iHola, muchachos! It’s a beautiful morning here. Hopefully where you are, as well.
Jeff, looks like you guys are having a fun holiday. You’ll be well-trained to slip into real retirement.

Like, G-day, eh?
Yesterday was just horrible. Managing my blood sugar to take spit samples is a challenge. Trying to keep it at the lower alert level makes me feel terrible, dizzy, and groggy for basically the rest of the day. Blood sugar is not getting low enough that it is a medical alert. Trying to get the level that is just low enough that when Pepper alerts me I can eat something and stop my sugar from getting too low. Doc says not to worry about my current lows because it is not getting too low, and I will get used to it. Until then, argh. A good sign was that when my blood sugar is at that level Pepper stays right next to me and keeps want attention and nosing me. Give her treats to encourage that behavior. Very interesting to me because haven't started her scent training at all.

Some dogs are just in tune with their people.
So, I go to update our master controller for our wireless and it is not registered properly. Never EVER trust third party partnerships. We haven't been on speaking terms from months. To quote the Holy Grail "AAarrrrrghghghghg".

My day job they seem to like to hire 3rd parties, give them to the end of their contract. Then have someone in the company fix it. The problem is the having stuff not working properly until the contract is up. Took them a year to move our exchange from on-site to 365. I even fixed it several times and they went back in a broke the things I fixed. Seems like they would notice that it worked, they changed just one thing, then it didn't work.
The problem with our current leadership is this seems to be the norm and it;s self-fulfilling. They insist on 3rd party so they will be responsible for things not working. Then the 3rd party does not do things correctly so they are needed to fix it.

1.25 hours to go. It all started by slipping in the driveway and jamming my wrist.

I just got back from a "quick" errand. It required me to go to one of the crazy busy intersections. My pharmacist is a friend of 30 years, and he owns the pharmacy. He is right on RT-66, but it is called Second street in Edmond. As I get to the right turn at the light, it is backed up so far I have to wait for two light to make a right turn! Of course so much of it is the inattentive drivers. The light changes and they are not paying attention and three cars in the other lane right next to them go past before the moron in front of me notices traffic is going and they move. And then at a pace ideal for a icy day. It is 60 degrees, and no ice, no rain. Just dry pavement. I felt like the opening scene in Office, where the man on a walker is moving faster than traffic.
I made a few other stops in the area so it was a lot of fun spreading around money in the community. That old cash flow.

Passing all those slow moving humans must be a chore. Is traffic that thick at Turn 1?

It was bumper to bumper all the way to the back of the grid. Fun experience but a 5hitfight.

Stijn!!
That can’t be a real photo. No one has their hat on backwards or sideways. Wait, there is always a Yankees fan and I see one front and center. Ok, must be real. Maybe the fans are just smart enough to know how to wear a hat.

Just don't duct tape an old video recorder to your head! Especially if it's the size of a shoebox. The video recorder, not you head.
