All she needs is the digital file. Take it to Kinko's or a myriad of print shops. They can print 8x10 to 11x17 for sure. Most can print then bigger. The challenge will be the file resolution. Most likely that sketch up program is backing a raster image, so it has a fixed pixel per inch. It will only enlarge to a certain size before it look bad. If by chance it is vector, it can be as big as she wants. I doubt it is a vector format, but what do I know about artistic type drawing programs.

Dad had no desire to cut hair. If he was off work, he was relaxing. Reading or TV. He did not get any hands on hobbies until he retired. I can't ever remember him doing anything more than golf as a hobby. And he played golf only to be decent at it. He regularly "had" to meet the commanding officer on the golf course to discuss some project. It was just funny to me that whenever he played with the general, they got the prime tee time, and even with short notice. Just funny how that worked.

The phone thing I am sure is similar to Photoshop. She has a suite that has both types but for that type of art, raster is fine. She just needs to keep it high enough resolution. 10 or 12 megapixel size would be sufficient I would think, even up to tabloid size.

I keep my hair (what there is of it) pretty short now. It was pretty long, for me, when we met Richard for supper.

Glen, having the right golf partner sure makes it easy to get the tee time you want.

Don't remember Dad calling it anything. Just said get in the car.

When I started getting my own haircuts and it got too long for him...it was get in the car.

We lived next door to our barber for the 1st year we moved to OKC.
Dad went to him ever since.

From college until my late 30's I cut it myself with scissors.
Was griping about having to clean up after so my bro got me a Flow-bee.
I like that if vacuums what I chop off while it's cutting.
Gonna have to dig out Flow-bee, hook it up, and do a trim.
Takes longer to get the stuff out and put it away than actually cut hair.

Best haircut I ever got was in a small one chair barber shop in the basement of an old hotel.
They had a topless shampoo girl. Very intense for a HS kid.

My current barber is 25 years old, about 5'3", 115lbs and gorgeous.....and she does a damn good job for $20....and her shop is inside the cigar bar.

I am failing miserably at talking myself out of buying a 1990 Disco...it's RHD, diesel and manual....if I hadn't just bought a Tudor Black Bay, I'd have already bought the damn truck...

My "barber" is 5 foot tall and when she was pregnant was the first time in her life she broke 100 lbs. Her arms are 2 1/2 inches across. She is tiny. Her husband is 6'4" and they both work out all the time. He daughter is 12 now. I have been using her since the days when she was single. She trims my hair, beard, ears, and eyebrows.

I have been watching the neighbors yard crew pick up all the leaves. The had a big four door pickup pull up and 4 guys got out. Each one strapped on a back pack leaf blower and headed to the back yard. I heard leaf blowers run for a long time and then a huge pile of leaves came into view followed by three men with leaf blowers. One guy attacked some of the leaves in the front and then they all pushed all the leaves to the street along the curb, and the driveway. It was a large pile. Then they fired up a wild machine. It looked like a 6 cylinder car engine powering a large leaf grinder- sucker and blower. It had a 24 inch hose they dropped into the pile and one guy was moving the hose around, one guy was raking, and one was blowing and another was driving the truck. He slowly pulled forward, and they sucked up virtually every leaf in sight. 20 minutes or so total time.

Oh yea, many times. It was wild watching 4 guys work together blowing a huge pile of leaves and herding the leaves to the place they want. I am sure as soon as they left his house, they went to the next house. All day long. Not much mowing going on now, so gotta keep the crew busy and making money.

I just get the clippers out and lean over the trash can.

Joe, just buy the truck and be done!

Out of curiousity, what the longest y'all have owned a car? Bought the Cobra in '94. I had a big block Coronet convertible for a year, sold it for the Cobra. Those are my longest/shortest. Have had the Durango 14 years.

I'm too busy for the next 2 weeks to go get it, but if it's still available then, I'm gonna grab a buddy with a truck/trailer, some cigars and have a road trip ...

The El Camino I bought on Oct 19th 1991, so 27 years for it. The 911 I bought in August of 1995, so just 23 years. The only car I bought before that was Set of 1974. Since 1974 I have only bought three cars. I still own to of them.

Disclaimer: I do not count my wife's cars in my list, even though my name is the title. They are her cars, even if I did participate in the buying of them.

Hey Joe, we all are curious, what are you doing for a living now? Managing a cigar store, or something else entirely different?

I bought my landcruiser in jan 98. 280k kms later and she's ticking along.

G'day all

I've been absent coz work loaded me up as soon as I was back from NZ. That was a great trip...seems so distant now.

I've retired again until next year

We're staying at home this time as the missus doesn't get to retire until we both retire (temporarily) together again next February. That's when we say hello to Fiji.

Joe, keep away from the evil money grabbin nightmare.

Your El Camino has a few more miles than the Cobra. Must be those extra couple years!
