Yep. :D

Just seen a video where an R/C company has developed an R/C jet that does thrust vectoring.Besides all kinds of aerobatics it can produce enough thrust to do tail hovering like propeller planes can do prop hovering.
At $2K and higher they didn't think they would sell, but their production is sold out. |

I can see flying over the water to protect yourself from the impact of the crash...But what about drowning from having all those motors and fuel strapped to your body,?

Details, details.

I am still waiting for my flying car, jet packs are so 1960s.
Knowing the cost first hand of an airplane that would be overloaded with three 180 pound passengers and a pilot that is the same weight, I can't see flying cars anytime soon, if ever. We will need a magical energy source for sure. Our airplane can suck down $120 of gas just to go 100 miles. With just the pilot on board. Hey, happy Hump Day! |
Good Morning.
Neil Tyson says we already have flying cars, They are called helicopters. |

As close as I will ever get. |

And if you have ever actually watched the jetsons, they have traffic jams, wrecks, and spaceway patrolmen too!

The Jetson's flying car is the goal. Especially one that can change its volume and mass enough to fold up into a briefcase and be light enough to carry with ease.
I had to make a run for bananas, milk, and beer, The three vital food items! At the gas station I go to I told them to please stock Erdinger Dunkle, the world's best beer in my opinion. Since I pay for it and drink it that is the only opinion that counts. There has been a horrible shortage of it for several months. Since it cost abut 3 buck per bottle I don't by much of it, but I like to keep some in stock for those celebrations of a job well done. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1560975789.JPG Things like a brake fluid change, valve adjustment, or getting the 911 all cleaned up after an autocross. Even things like antifreeze flush on the El Camino. I will for sure save a couple of bottles to take with me to Alabama and toast one with my brother on the occasion of our road trip to Florida. |

Spacely.
I've spent the last few hours trying to remove the oil pan from the Z, to no avail. All the bolts are out, but the pan has a death grip on the block. It looks like a rubber or rubberized gasket. Probably been there since '75. This sucks. |
Glen, you guys need a total wine. Says they have your beer in stock at the store near me. 🤣🤣🤣

It is back in stock here as well. I suspect the supply from Germany is spotty. It will be available for months and then vanish. I even stopped at Bryon's liquors and they said it was out of stock in the system. What ever that means.
The manager at the gas station - convenience store - liquor store - car wash down the street from me orders inventory every week. He says he had it on the order every time and it was not in stock until just recently once again. In the olden days before the changed the booze laws I had to talk to their liquor store and they ordered it several times in the past. Now they know to try to keep it in stock! |
