Doc? Are you that bad at math, or did you mean 45k/semester?

$45K per year x 4 years = $180K for the degree. Realistically almost half of what you make gets taxed between the federal and state governments (at least it does here in California if your parents are well off enough to pay your tuition in cash for you), so that means parents have to make almost $360K to put their kid through pharmacy school.

Evening. I sold 2 phones today. Hopefully they work. ATT and radioshacks systems were screwed up...

Rick V 12-24-2010 03:42 PM

How did you manage that?

nynor 12-24-2010 03:51 PM

hey guys.

perhaps the brain trust here can help me figure out what is going on with my respiratory department.

in their infinite wisdom, administration of our small hospital, have decided to keep our department dependent upon PRN staff to make up a lack of employees. indefinitely, at least until december. this means that, in reality, our department is understaffed per POLICY. furthermore, they are going to force us day shift folks to rotate a series of night shifts for a week every month or so.

can anyone think of a good or rational reason for doing this?

i have a few ideas: a. they are trying to get some of us to quit. b. they really are that stupid and uncaring of their employees. c. they are trying to save money (not sure how that is going to work in the long run) in order to pad their bonuses.

frankly, it will be pretty much impossible for me to rotate nights because my wife has a job that requires her to work from 6 PM until 1 AM four nights a week. i am already looking for new employment.

Sounds to me like you are not D at work, but rather Worker 104573.
Gotta love the bean counters

Stijn!!

You should have seen the AT&T store where we bought our phones today. We got there at 9:15 am and it was just a bit busy. By the time we left there was a line of people waiting for a customer rep.

porsche4life 12-24-2010 04:18 PM

I dont doubt att was busy. Their servers were crashed this afternoon.

RKDinOKC 12-24-2010 11:33 PM
