I don't rake, I put the mulch kit on the mower and chop them up nice and fine.

No jackets required here. Yet.

Porsche-poor 10-10-2019 12:57 PM

sounds like a plan but the yard is to small for a riding mower.

GH85Carrera 10-10-2019 01:11 PM

We rake and mow em up. Rack up pig piles and thrown them in the compost, and then clean up the yard with the mower mulching the rest.

Porsche-poor 10-10-2019 01:20 PM

I pray for a big wind storm so they become and S.E.P!

GH85Carrera 10-10-2019 01:29 PM

Wind we get, and it all seems to blow everyone else's leaves to our yard.

A mulch kit for the push mower probably doesn't save a lot of time.

We have several maple trees. They suck, but are good shade trees. Might be good for syrup too.

Also, on the picture on the right hand side even with our property line is a line across the road. Just east of that is where the guy drove through the field on the south side.

Awww crap!

The tojos steering rack finally 5hit itself :(

The challenge now is to get it fixed inside a week - an issue when the acronym NT (for the Northern Territory of Australia) is colloquially known as Not Today, or Not Tomorrow, or Not Tuesdays, or Not Thursdays, or Next Train.

Porsche-poor 10-10-2019 02:58 PM

Lets hope its not NTY or Not This Year.

Yes please

The typical chicks my car attracts.

GH85Carrera 10-10-2019 05:07 PM

And it draws a crowd!

The new 992.

Ok, I admit the new 911 drew all the girls.

Jim Richards 10-10-2019 09:22 PM

They dress funny.

GH85Carrera 10-11-2019 06:05 AM

That is typical dress for most women in Oklahoma.

For the first hour they had a local not overly talented band playing REAL LOUD. If ya can't be good, be loud must be their motto. I have no idea why they would have really loud music so it is impossible to chat with the other people there.

Thankfully the band went home when it was time to have the big unveiling. I saw the 992 at Parade, so it was not new to me. The white one in the last photo is a Carrera S and "only" 138K. So about 100K more than mine sold for new. It is of course a lot bigger than my car and it has about eleventy million computers to run the car for the driver, instead of the driver driving the car. It is orders of magnitude faster than my old slug.

I had tons of compliments on my car. Several men, and several women said my car was their dream car. Several people were incredulous that it has 174,000 miles and has been to 40 states and Canada. And tracks from Laguna Secca, in CA to Roebling Road in Georgia. The tracks are 2,600+ miles apart on opposite sides of the country.

Outback Porsche 10-11-2019 06:17 AM

They look nice.

The cars do too :D

GH85Carrera 10-11-2019 06:29 AM

Yea, they had several chicks in 1960s outfits and go-go dancing to the music. Kinda weird, but I did not mind. I always liked mini skirts on chicks for some reason.

Jim Richards 10-11-2019 06:33 AM

Me, too. I wonder why?
