Well, I’m down for the count, too. My lower back is killing me. It’s probably a coincidence, but we went to a new restaurant for Taco Tuesday last night. Their chairs weren’t too comfortable. By the time dinner was over, I was barely able to move. This sucks.

My back used to do that until I found a new bone cracker that gave me two simple exercises after a very light manipulation of my spine (no actual cracking of bones).

Lots of thunderstorms last night. Only .3 inch of rain.

The car show they have is my type of car show. Clean it up on the top side, and talk to the other Porsche lovers. Super low key and laid back. Cool cars from a very few 356s and 914s to a few long hoods, and lots more mid years, SCs, Carreras and a few more 964s lots of 993s, 996s, and 997s 991s, and several GT3s and GT3RS and for the last few years a 918. It is cool to see a 918 actually driven and covered in bug and road dirt like a regular car and not some museum piece. Of course a plethora of Boxsters and Caymans and Macans and Cayennes. I think the 924 is about the only street Porsche not there.

Lots of friendly people. They are expecting a huge turnout. About 350 Porsches.

Last year they expanded the show area but then there was hardly any air-cooled so there were a lot of gaps....we're not helping anything by not entering. I thought about doing the whole weekend this year but.....didn't.

2014 was my favorite year, I also had just purchased my first 911 :D:

Afternoon all. It is sunny here. 20* but sunny.

We are headed out in a couple weeks to see my wife's brother in CA. Flying to PHX and driving and going to the grand canyon on the way back. Should be warm out there at least. Probably warm enough that I will be glad to get back here.

Here in south OC, we have lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s. We have a couple of 80 degree days mixed in, too.

I’m seriously lusting for one of those early cars.

It has been 90ish this week at his house.

Oh Scheisse!

The wife just bought us tickets to see Journey and the Pretenders at the honda center.

Not really sold on Journey's replacement singer yet, but won't have any trouble warming up to Chrissie Hynde.

Didja see that suit he was wearing at the R&R HOF induction?

Stijn!!

We made it to Palooza and got all registered. Weather was cold all day and overcast. Friday through Sunday will be clear skies, and fun roads and good eats and friends.

Does it get any better than that? I don’t think so. Low traffic, perfect roads (for a Porsche) and a very low cost event. Weeeeee.

I saw a GR3 in the parking lot of our hotel. He drove it from San Diego. It is in severe need of a car wash. Totally cool to see it driven.

Jim Richards 11-07-2019 03:16 PM

Sounds great, Glen. Watch out for those logging trucks!

Jeff, would you mind sharing the details of those exercises? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...boldyellow.gif

Well we know his favorite exercise and mine is the 12 ounce curl. Almost always done with just one hand. It is past time to stop when it requires both hands.
