We had a snow storm last night. I think we got a few hundred flakes, and I can see some snow in on the roof of a neighbor's house in trace amounts. I told my wife I would take care of shoveling the driveway and sidewalks.
Back to 60s by the weekend. |
afternoon all. Work is getting in the way of all my fun.
|
good morning all. That would be 3 of us at this point.
|
Yea, the forum is certainly messed up. This sucks, I may have to demand a refund on my subscription to the forum. Hopefully they will get it sorted soon.

its free..........you get what you pay for I guess.

I prepared the statements for the slow poke pay customers. I wanted to get them in the mail ASAP to get them to the clients as a reminder to pay us.
The mail man had already run to our house today, so I went to the mail box a few blocks from my house. There are two mail boxes, and a UPS drop off box. The area in front of the boxes and for the first parking spot are marked off with yellow stripes to try to get people to not park there so the boxes can be used from a car without having to get out of the car. As I was pulling up some crazy broad decided that the spot would be convenient for her. So I just had to pull my big old chrome 5 MPH bumper right up to her door, so I could just reach the first mail box slot. She was saying something and I just ignored her. The only way she could get out was to crawl out the back or the passenger door. I sat there for a few seconds and she decided to park somewhere else with no yellow stripes on the spot, something I guess maybe legitimate as a parking spot. She was likely cussing at the idiot in the EL Camino, and I was uncaring to her plight of having to park in a regular spot. |

We don't have front tags. I don't even have a bracket for my cars for a front tag.
On one of my trips to California, I stopped for gas, and a motorcycle cop was parked to go inside. He saw my 911 with no front tag, and walked to the back on my 911. He had his ticket book out, saw my Oklahoma tag, and put his ticket book away and walked inside. I just smiled. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1643661823.jpg It is wonderful weather today. Tomorrow is cloudy and a high of 42. Then the crappy Canadian weather arrives. Snow and ice and winter. February is for sure our worst weather winter month for some reason. Damn Canadians and their winter weather. They don't seem to share the cool temps in August, just February. |
It is just at the freezing level today, but windy so I am working on shelving for the basement.
|
It looks like the Canadian air is coming down to Washington and Oregon, into California down to about I-40 and turning east and hauling buns towards us. The wonderful 71 and blue skies are gone, and it is overcast and possible drizzle today. The moisture is welcome, but likely less than a few hundredths of an inch will fall.
Wednesday, Thursday, are gonna suck. Friday the sun comes back but it will be cold. There is the big Cars and Coffee on the first Saturday of the month. It is supposed to be 6 degrees Saturday morning. I am real sure, I will pass on that one. February in Oklahoma is our worst weather. |
Morning all. Once again it looks like the board is not sending me notifications of posts. Grrrrrrr
|
Hey, at least it is updating and mostly working.
|
I'm mostly working as well.................
|
Morning all. COLD COLD COLD here. Yesterday they said we might see some snow in the air but not going to stick.
On a lighter note the youngest turned 21 yesterday. |
They keep upping the snow accumulation forecast. It is up to 8 to 10 inches now.
Glen is not happy about that! |
I bet not. If you have snow on the commute you have bigger problems.
|
Yea, if is starts snowing I may tell the boss I can't make it in, and just have to work from home, or better yet, take the day off and take a nap or watch TV.
I don't plan on leaving until Friday afternoon, and only if the roads are clear. I went to the store on Monday and the forecast of snow in Oklahoma means the three whites are in major demand. Toilet paper, Milk and Bread all vanish from the shelves. All I can figure is lots of people have chickens, and they all rush home to eat a lot of French toast, and they all get diarrhea and use a lot of TP. I did get the snow shovels out of the storage building. We plugged in the pond heater for the Koi pond, and Mrs. Carrera bought a new heated bird bath to supply the birds with water. I have yet to see a bird get any water from it. She also put out a bird feeder since the ground will be covered in snow. |
I'm sure the birds will thank you later.

Well, I am registered for Parade. It is gonna be a really long drive. The Poconos are almost to New York.
|
Nope not for me. I will be a long time before I go again.
