I have never even tried coffee with crap in in it. Just black. If it is so bad it needs flavorings, I just pour it out, and do without. I honestly think that is what Starbucks makes their coffee taste so bad, so people will order it with all the crap in it. Yuck.

I drink four, 18 oz bottles of water every day as a minimum. Just ordinary tap water, put in the fridge to be cold. Same bottles, just refilled.

We have ice and water dispensers at work and a GE ice maker at home.

I sometimes will have a "dessert" coffee with heavy cream and a flavored syrup.

If constipated i willuse fake creamer to get things moving.

Welp, off to edge and mow the yard again. Gotta get out there before it gets too hot. The yard is still covered in some dew, but that ain't a gonna stop me.

GH85Carrera 07-04-2023 12:44 PM

The yard is all pretty and done. I used my fancy new electric string trimmer. The battery only used up 1/4 of the charge according to the lights, so I guess I can edge a lot longer, but I was done.

Now the boss's wife is making me help her clean the aquarium. Golly what fun. The worst parts are done, now to siphon out some water and fish poop, and refill with well water.

There is a concrete to walk on all the way around the house. It does not show in this photo but there is a sidewalk in front to the yellow flowers, and in front of the house.

Job well done ! Out standing landscape.

GH85Carrera 07-05-2023 06:05 AM

Thanks, but that is the side with the least landscaping.

The back yard has the Koi pond and multiple gardens as well. I spend as much time edging and trimming as I do mowing. My wife just keeps taking over areas of the yard to make into flower gardens. Less to mow, more to trim.

Morning all. Well another war zone night in the books. Poor dog spent most of yesterday under the bed.

Porsche-poor 07-05-2023 09:47 AM

We could sure use some wind and rain. The air quality is 215. That is not good.

GH85Carrera 07-05-2023 10:06 AM

The rain just keeps skirting past us. The humidity is 78% but the thunderstorms form, and then split and go around us. It is weird.

Porsche-poor 07-05-2023 10:17 AM

That also means the twisty winds avoid you to right?

GH85Carrera 07-05-2023 10:23 AM

These are little wimpy thunderstorms. Just rain and a occasional small hail. We are quite happy to have the twisting winds skip around us.

So they have fireworks for the American Independence day down there?

Nah, Australia’s Northern Territory celebrates self governing on the 1st July.

Your yard looks good Glen

I figured it was something like that.

Our male dachshund, Reuben is having a really bad day. He was not allowed to go into the main back yard to hunt for cicadas. He did not get to eat any breakfast this morning, it is thundering, raining, and he hates thunder. Then he got hauled off to the vet to have his teeth cleaned, so he is locked in a cage waiting for that to happen wondering what the hell is going on.

The female, was upset so did not get to "go" and refused to eat her breakfast, and was just frantic because her momma left her behind.

We have received 1.3 inches of rain so far and more is coming. That is nice.

Porsche-poor 07-06-2023 12:53 PM

Late as always. It is after lunch and I finally found the time to check in. Our dog is also nuts that way. Next week will be so much fun since the wife is going on a trip and I will get stuck at home with the sad sack excuse of a dog.

Porsche-poor 07-06-2023 01:01 PM

making up for a duplicate post.

The 718 is ready for delivery

Only issue is that it’s 1600km away and we can’t get there until next month :(

GH85Carrera 07-07-2023 06:13 AM

Jeff, that is a pretty new toy!

We are getting another round of rain. We ended up with 1.75 inches yesterday and already raining again this morning. Thhe good news is no lumpy hunks of hail, and just some winds up to 50 MPH.

And more is expected tomorrow morning.

Thanks Glen. It’s going to be a long few weeks wait before we get to pick it up. It’s a good thing we will be distracted with an overseas holiday in the meantime. :D

We fly to Malta this afternoon. Woot!

Porsche-poor 07-10-2023 06:58 AM

Morning all. Nice ride. Enjoy the vacation.
