Was ET the dark side Yoda?
So if the good one say "May the force be with you," what do the dark side guys say, "Piss off"?

As a long time Trekkie I watched the shows in chronological order. Set in the years before Capt. Kirk and the series was "Enterprise." They were done in the era of computer graphics. They encountered the Varn (I think that is the name of the lizard folks in the photo above. In the Enterprise version the computer graphics were pretty good. The Varn or lizard folks looked like a a real creature, and not a man in a rubber suit. The stories on the original Star Trek were good, and the opening of many shows had them orbiting another planet. The planets from space were wonderful, most of the other special effects, not so much.
You do have to realize they were made for broadcast TV on the 1960s with a very low budget. They have all been remastered in high def and the props are often laughable now. The swords are obvious cardboard with silver paint, and no edge except the corrugated cardboard edge cut square.

Yep, and today the mean ol boss is gonna make me go out in the garage and replace the shocks on his El Camino. The good news is he provides a nice scissor lift and a wonderful garage heater so I can work in my t-shirt and jeans.
My wife says all men have "male optimism" when calculating the time a project will actually require. So when I tell her it should only take a couple hours at most, and it takes all day, she just rolls her eyes. I am the worlds slowest mechanic. I always find "while I am in there" projects when working on a 33 year old car with 360,000 plus miles. Every single item on the car works as designed, or much better than wen new. When I replace the carpet for the second time, and the dash it would look and perform like a low mileage car.
